the whiplash from OG season to chapter 5 was insane. going from the tightest weapon pool in the game's history to these spammy projectile based boring ass weapons was like realizing your ex will never get better.

Weapon Attachments is a double-edged sword. It's amazing that you have an option to equip different scope types, mags, and other stuff. However, over time, it will feel very repetitive and sometimes frustrating when you have to wait half of the game to go to Weapon Bonkers.
And recently, Fortnite advertised a Red vs Blue map that was made by rvb in their channel.
The one guy that had broken multiple tos rules, and his maps is pure lazy design, and it had half ass content.
Fortnite promoting this kind of crap just hits a new low.
I love this game, but I don't even think that I could recommend people playing this game.
Knowing Epic Games I think they will eventually make a simple chapter map, not OG fortnite but something a lot of people will enjoy that it feels like the chapter 1 map. Epic listens, but due to roadmaps they're stuck with schedules

I completely agree with you especially on the ui and the looks aspect. When you try to make a cartoony art style more realistic it kinda looks ugly
I agree that I don’t like the whole metaverse bs, but I do like more recent seasons of Battle Royale over the og ones

@@tyluhfryzgaming I will say though, I really hate everything else about the game, the rarity being gone is just one of many factors to the game loosing its identity. I miss fortnite just being goofy with each season rather than all the other bs

Colabs should be ltms, especially the star wars which I would love to have marvel treatment (a season) but I know the concept would fit an endgame style ltm
whole-heartedly agree with your thoughts on this. what’s especially frustrating is the whole metaverse thing - in an effort to create it, epic is actively ruining their other games, main example rocket league. the esport is dying, epic removed trading and certain extra modes, give us copy-paste weak af rewards and can never fix fundamental game issues like the servers or unreal engine 5, all so that they could create a rocket league racing game within fortnite which - to be frank - barely anyone plays, and when you do play it, it’s some of the janky, uninteresting and soulless racing ever. going back to fortnite, the game has lost its soul too. getting a win elicits no emotions anymore, because u either have to sweat the whole time or u farm bots all match which ruins the experience or the casual nature of the game, the weapons all have goofy names now, and the attachments just make them more annoying to enjoy because you have to figure out the right setup, you have mythics that are either broken or garbage. even the skins and emotes have lost their way - everything nowadays is a collab with some real life person or product, and most of the skins don’t even have that fortnite essence - i’m sure you know what i mean. long story short, i don’t hate fortnite but, it’s sad to see where the game has come and where it seems to be going, ruining other games i love (i.e. rocket league) in the process because of epic’s business decisions.

these later seasons are better than OG. if it was between walking around with guns trying to find somebody to kill or having wings to fly with and a teleportation power and being able to make players come to you with the chains of hades or shooting lightning or killing bosses for weapons that are well deserved and getting cool powers and being able to change your weapon, what would you choose. OG was fun because we did not think any of that was possible
What made fortnite so much fun was the simplicity of the game. It was s shooter that had a defensive mechanic in building. It was the best and i dont understand why they would ever go away from that.. doesnt make much sense. The og days were some of the best times in gaming history when most of us lookef forward to hoping on fort with our friends. Good times for sure

100%. And as I said, change is necessary, and people forget that literally everyone was begging for a new map by the end of chapter 1. I just feel like it’s felt redundant especially in ch5
After Ch2 Fortnite started loosing its identity I just want the fun BR game it was back not some multiverse shit you can tell barely anyone plays other modes than BR and the people that do AFK for XP. I wish they would just add the old maps and gameplay back for the people that want to enjoy Fortnite for what it was.

i think they should just add a map rotation gamemode where every day a map from a different season in chronological orger is selected with its lootpool, mechanics, graphics maybe and etc, this would give some much needed variety to the game while also giving players what they want: a chance to play their favorite season again
I think a system like apex does with the map rotations and weapon rotations would work so well
A day is a bit too much, but maybe a week could be cool
@@MarianzYT we've had like 20+ maps so far, giving one map a whole weak means that if u wanted a map from chapter 3 for example you would have to wait for a VERY long time
Marvel would have to approve, possibly others like dc or star wars depending on which version we select

I remember when I first played on my iPad in season 7. My First skin was flytrap, and I did not get a win till chapter 2 season 2. Now I see my friends get their first win and they don’t utter a sound.

I completely agree with you, I HATE the weapon attachments I loved not having to deal with that stuff
I’m a die hard for OG Fortnite, I started in season 1 and quit in Chapter 2 Season 4. I came back at Fortnite OG, and this time, I stayed for Chapter 5. I have accepted Fortnite for what it is. Yeah, it will never be like it used to be, but if you take it in for what it is, it is probably still the best battle royale out there. That’s just my opinion though

Won't happen. They will push the metaverse shit endlessly, the game will never return to what it used to be, but people still think there's a chance for that to happen

Chapter 5 ruined the experience for me. Bullet travel time, attachments, new movement mechanics, boring map and guns, everything changed, and for the worst
