RED ARROWS BEAT THE STORM@SUNDERLAND 3Oth ANNIVERSARY AIRSHOW LAUNCH

Here is a very quick draft edit of the only full performance from the 30th anniversary Sunderland Airshow Launch night yesterday.
Despite a huge schedule of live bands, pyro flying and even a fast reheatred jet at twilight, only the Red Arrows were able to perform at their best, proving once a gain why they are so respected in the aviation world
The Sunderland Airshow is no stranger to horrific weather, with the 20th anniversary show a non-starter 10 years ago because of some freak fog which swept in from the sea on saturday and sunday, and in 2014 the flying was cacelled on the launch.
Hopefully the future will bring better weather for the show . . .

It was awful yesterday too 29-07-2018, the displays didn't start until 3:15pm and then there was only 5 displays......Got to see the awesome Typhoon though.

The organisers deserved better weather. For some reason this area suffers the very worst weather of all the country.

Hunter's Moon saturdays was amazing ! The weather was so good all day I got sunburned 🤣, Sunday was really poor but during the Chinook and typhoon displays the sun kept creeping out
