Importing cash beyond the declare limit is stupid as hell. Just buy a collectible watch and sell it in the destination country like an above average IQ person would do. You could be carrying anywhere from 10k to a few million on your wrist without suspicious from customs.

@@chilichinashop i told you why. its because his story wasn't adding up, he said he was vacationing and only gonna be seeing autumn leaves yet had no return ticket. and other stuff like no confirmation on the aunt that bought the ticket for him. so of course immigration offficers are not gonna let him in since vacation but no return ticket means he isn't planning or returning back soon. aka illegal immigration

The main reason why I feel bad for the guy is that they would normally give him a chance to pay for the return ticket at the airport, and this is going based of TV shows like this that I’ve seen previously, but I guess it wasn’t his money that purchased the original ticket so they didn’t bother asking.
I still believe that it’s a weird process to send someone all the way back for a mishap as small as that, and UK immigration laws are just really peculiar, but I’m not thrashing the people working there, just a bit confused on the why of it all.

Yes, but in the UK you dont have rights to remain silent, when we say the caution it means that anything they say after that is known as a significant statement, and that means that we could arrest you based on anything you confess after the caution.
