TOP TIP IF making a rice paddy next to roads or needing vehicles in-between them when close like here Press m on pc this will lower the paddy meaning no raised burms just a lower area that gets flooded
A video on crop and production prices would be cool,,,,so we could plan ahead for when we get to release,....like rice seems to be a good price but you have to put abit bit more work in.......lettuce was a great earner at the start of fs 22 but they nurfed it.....things like this
I noticed when you flattened the field the texture changed. Does it still register as a field or would I need to re-plow it to get it back to a "field" state like in previous fs games?
@FarmerKlein thank you for letting me know that about the rice fields. By any chance do you know if the cultivated state applies for regular crop fields as well after flattening the terrain?
@@FarmerKleinno that's only if you continue to make the rice paddy However if you change your mind or can't create the field it will need plowing / cultivating before AI registers it as a field
@@madyottoyotto3055 you can put anything in the field its not restricted to rice. the only need to delete the field is if the pump is in the way from a placement standpoint.
click the field not the pump. Note when selling the field its no longer a field and you will have to use a plow to redefine the field. you can plant anything in the field so no need to delete it unless you have the pump in the way.
@ I want to sell the field that the pump is on and in order to sell the field I need to sell the pump first and idk how to get rid of the pump so I can sell the feild?
Yes, in build mode you go into the demolition mode and pick the field to delete it. Due note this will take the area back to a dirt state, IE no field. If you want it a field again you will have to plow it and create a field. If you didnt know you can plant other crops in rice fields there is no restriction to what you can plant in it.

Can other Crops crow in this fields besides Rice in these fields? (unflooded state)
With out testing it I would assume anything could go in there just the flooding mechanic wouldn't be needed.

@@bluebutterfly6394 yes you can

It sets it in a cultivated state ready for flooding and planting or planting longgrain rice.

I have a pump on a field I want to sell. It won’t let me sell the field untill the pump is gone. How do you sell the water pump?

That’s pretty cool. Glad you can’t do slopes as that wouldn’t make much sense.
wow this is going to be cool how long did that sized field take to flood
Its based on in game speed.
