What I do, as well as in MLB, is take an alternate line of -1. It will cut the juice (not by half, but typically from -230 to -160ish), and also allows you to cash if the game goes to overtime (in NHL). It also provides the cushion of a push if the team wins by one while avoiding the loss if they don’t cover the RL or puck line (-1.5). What do you think?
Yeah I do the same thing in both sports as well. Take favs at -1 to cut the juice a bit. And I rarely go full puckline or runline at -1.5 and found that this works very well for me. I actually don't agree with Frank's advice here on taking favs at regulation time. 20 to 25% of all NHL games go into OT. Taking regulation time is too risky. -1 is the way to go.
That's what I do on baseball too. 2 team -1 parlays.
Same but my nppk s don't have-1 until the game starts. Have to grab soon as it starts
Yea man I do that too
@@chris7938 what is full puck line and what is a run line? I make bets on NBA and college basketball and I would like to get into NHL. I understand taking a minus one on the favorite even if I have to buy the points back, but what should I look out for if I'm trying to make these kinds of bets? Like what are the indicators that let me know it's a good play?
Just gamble that the live bet will bless you and hopefully the big favorite starts not so hot and the lines change. I took a puckline for a team that was -400 for ML. They were losing by 3 so I bet the ML live bet which was at +110. Even better than even money, I won the bet too.
Appreciate the tip!
I like going after over and under in the 3rd period. Use math, see how many points per game the 2 teams are averaging. Then see how many goals were scored in the 2nd period, and what the computer AI predicted before the game.
@@johnj8840Nhl can be a pain in the ass sometimes. Do you have any tips?

I fuckin love this Channel!!!!!
Overtime towards end of season also
Goddamn Frank, you are the man
Everyday, one of the top 2 favs in NHL lose .... If course I mean mostly. Nothing is ever 100% Moral of the story, f"ck a big fav (except bruins, they look unbeatable lol)... Dogs all day and twice on Sunday for nhl
Yes, I bet a split on favorites that at least one will lose. Pair them up. (+1.5 Dog and -1.5 Fav) for both combinations (meaning two bets). Odds are usually in the +400 range for each bet. A lot of hockey results are based on who they just played and how intense that game was
What a joke lol
