- We had the opportunity to install the Power Pole Charge System in our bay boat and all I can say is that it is a game change. Hopefully this install will help you understand more on how easy it is to put into your bay boat.
That’s pretty amazing! Very nicely designed!
Great product. Will be upgrading to PP charging system soon. Waiting on trolling motor. Crazy long lead times for products.
After having one on the boat and using a boat that does not have one is a complete game changer for sure!! It is an awesome accessory to have on the boat!
That is one sweet system. Add a super capacitor jump starter to your arsenal and I would say you would have the complete power system.
No need for the jump starter as the Power Pole Charge has an emergency jump start in the system.
I have been thinking about this as well, just got the new ispot minnkota ,would you be able to do a tutorial on the remote, seems like alot of info how to take it in and out of anchor and such, thanks
I like the idea of the PP Charging system. There was another setup that some buddies can use to charger their trolling motor batteries while the motor is on, but I don't believe it allows you to stop charging when the batteries are fully charged (could possibly damage the batter). Is there any negative side effects (decreased life) of charging a battery the same time you are using them (especially lithium with those built in cpu)?
I have also run my live wells (portable 30 gallons, with filters and ammonium neutralizer) in the boat (boat is on the trailer) with live bait (they have already been purged) for use the next day , and I have my charger plugged in to keep the batteries topped off. I have wondered if that decreases the life of the batteries (I only get 2 or 3 good years out of them).
I carry a small 350 Watt Honda Generator (about the size, but slightly lighter than a battery) to connect up to my 3 bank charger during long periods of trolling battery usage.
Thank you
Hey guys ! Not to experienced with low or high tides all i see is the regular weather report to me it looks pretty good can i get your input on if it would be good to go fishing Saturday or Sunday at fort desoto park? any suggestions ? Thanks in advance
Saturday is going to blow. Sunday looks better but just a cold start.
@@TampaBayFishingChannel Thanks 🙂
Too much money, you can get regular 2 x 3 banks chargers for $300. We have 27ft boat with 36v minkota and 3 x 210AH Duracell agm batteries . Easy 12+ hours of fishing on one charge.
The bank chargers don't do half of what the Power Pole charge does trust me I had the 3 bank chargers in the past and they can't touch the PP Charge because of all the other things it does.
