Pouring the tonic like that releases a lot of it’s carbonation though, surely you want to preserve as much of it as possible. Preferably you want an already chilled glass, gin and tonic.
I was a bartender for five years. This is not the “right way” to make a gin and tonic. Maybe it’s an unnecessarily fancier way to do it? Look up the history of the drink and you’ll understand why - it’s made from ingredients British soldiers had on hand in India. No malaria = no gin and tonic. But, if you feel like spending nine bucks on tonic water makes it taste better . . .
@@prestonphillips3375 no because he didn't muddle the mint. How are you supposed to extract the menthol from the mint without lightly muddling it? The frozen mint cube is nice but it won't impart the menthol from the mint which gives you that nice minty flavor.

Wrong glass, Gin Tonic should be served with a tall glass. Pouring fizzy drink from such a hight will make the bubble gone. The music is just right on point tho.
