I really think some of the environments here are so peaceful but the dark forests and streets fill me with cold dread at the same time like, they look like sort of nostalgic fever nightmares but I'm mesmerized by it all

i have this phobia. i’ve only gotten two seconds in and decided to pause it , let’s just say , the things some people are commenting are freaking me out , and i haven’t started the video. i see a lot of comments (respectfully) asking as to how someone would be afraid of snow. long story short , i’m very sickly. growing up , it’s been hard for me to play in the snow because 9/10 times i’d end up with an awful fever. on top of that , i hate winter with a passion. i’ve seen many family members fall and get hurt , and ive seen people get stuck. i also remember that when my grandma died , we had to trudge through snow to get to our car and out on the (freshly snowed-in) road. when i see images or think of anything related to snow , i’m full of disgust. it’s cold , i can feel it “burning” my skin with how icy it is. i can smell it. the amount of bacteria in it makes my skin crawl. and i can hear the “crunching” of snow when someone walks- which is arguably the worst sound and part of this phobia. i hate the sight of snow and how everything is just so dull and lifeless. and more importantly, i’m afraid of it. i’ll get sick. i hate the thought of it freezing my skin, or weakening my muscles to the point of not being able to walk through the snow anymore. i’m afraid of it slowing me down when i’m in a rush , and i REFUSE to drive or be driven in the snow. it’s too risky. i just feel trapped. sometimes i feel like i’ll die if i go in the snow. i usually spend all winter inside , or at least , whenever it snows. i wait for it to melt , and theres instant relief when it’s gone. and it sucks. it sucks not being able to hang out with your friends, or do/enjoy “fun” winter activities when you’re so afraid of the snow. better yet, admitting i have a fear of a snow is just laughable to people. they find humor in what they don’t struggle with. i’m embarrassed to be deathly afraid of something others would deem harmless.

I grew up in a small town in northwest Colorado that is one of the 4 coldest places in Colorado in the winter. I wouldn't say I have chionophobia but you learn to respect deep snow and the cold darkness around it. You make sure you have 4 wheel drive vehicles, good coats & gloves and make sure you're not too far from a source of heat especially after dark .
I think I should mention how, in animal crossing new horizons, the snowmen (well, technically snowboys) refer to themselves as clusters of a tiny alien civilization, referring to the snowflakes as the aliens.
I have a suggestion: can you make ones of theses videos with an unusual phobia or a phobia of something that most people don't find unconfortable to look at? Like Koumpounophobia (fear of buttons) or bibliophobia (fear of books) to name a few (yup thoses are real fears). Would you be able to make a earie video of anything that falls into that category?

It seems that I have not seen any snow here in South Florida since it’s in the tropical savanna region which is where I live in (especially Miami, FL is a better option). But, have a safe holiday season on one of your families and friends and next year will be not as problematic which that of is 2020 itself
