When I first used on of those tech discs what was interesting is that my speed was faster than I thought but my spin rate was consistently in the 950-975 range. Now I've been trying to find advice on how to increase spin rate to over 1000 because that's what clicked in my brain as to why my discs aren't going as far as the potentially could.
Wish I had known TecDisc used Innova before I ordered. Ended up with a Discraft Force, I bag all Innova. Still love the feedback I get with it. Great tool to have!
@@bigdiscenergy it's calibrated to the disc. this is important to get precise angle measurements which are a matter of single degrees. I mean, you could get it off the disc and try to put it on your own. results may vary
Let's go Coach Williams! In my experience, when you stop and talk to the camera, the disc loses sync with the website so you have to refresh the page, then reconnect the disc. It's a pain but it is what it is. The throw should have still been recorded.
That tech disc is very interesting. I have been looking at getting one for a while but the 299 price tag has stopped me. Im sure its worth every penny especially to a broken form like mine, lol!
I've got one and I love it. Same price as a new golf club or nice disc golf bag. Thats how I justified it to myself anyway lol. Well worth it in my opinion
hey Bradley are you making an effort to rotate on your plant heel? Like I'm just kind of putting my instep into the ground and I cant get the kind of easy rotation you get. Feels like I get stuck on the ground or losing too much power into the ground.(maxing out at 400 on a beautiful easter morning with lottery winning luck)
That's first thing I noticed as well. Fastest one I got on TechDisc was 61.8 and I felt like I had to put everything into it to get that. Now consistently and feeling like I'm putting everything into it I'm only averaging 51 mph to 54 mph. Bradley over here looking like he's barely even moving. 😢
lol I’m sneaky with it for sure. But from teaching lessons often and letting them use the tech disc, it’s seems once you try an idea and it shows more speed, the player is able to stick to that area. Sorta like setting a new benchmark for yourself.
Interesting tip on the hips! I think hips are my biggest challenge with my form. Excited to see how that works for you.

I may have leveraged my way into that Innova disc 😅
Wait they give you a disc with the tech disc on it? You can't self apply to your own disc? Lame.

@ryanwuzer lol. Well, I wonder what I will get when i get mine.
Setting up a net then warming up into the field was so funny for no reason
😅 I gotta see those babies fly at first. It was not lost on me what I was about to show you guys warming up without the net 😂

Each time I went back to the app it was showing the previous throw
Did you throw some discs in the field also while trying this form method? And the results of the throws? Not necessarily disc.
Not necessarily distance*
I needed to do that but the rain got me out of there. Later in the week I’ll try
awesome video, thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!

I worked on it for awhile and now it’s a habit. I try to heel rotate while also trying to drive the toes back down.
Did the sitting back help or not really?
Seems to help a bit if the plant leg straightens
😍😍
I have experienced the app slow to react but the website is better.
On good weather days I’ll have a laptop with me
You look like you’re barely trying and getting 60 MPH and I’m over here putting everything I got into a throw getting 54 MPH 😅
