Joint custody does NOT equate to the custodial parent duties. In Florida you get joint custodial at birth. The child's primary custodian may have the child 100 percent of the time. So yes, the non custodial parent needs to pay according to their involvement in the child's life.

They do have joint custody. All of them share custody. One has the child 3 days a week, and the other parent has them 4 days a week. And on top of the PARENT support 😒, you also have to pay a percentage of YOURRR income??!! That's BS! CHILD, not PARENT, SUPPORT is something on top of what your support is for the child as well. So with their income PLUS her monthly support ANNND extra percent of HER income, that's more than enough for a fukn "child". And I feel this way about MANNN or WOMAN whose in this position. The judge literally has her paying SPOUSAL SUPPORT without calling it "spousal" support.

There are a lot of victims who thought they were choosing the relationship when in reality, they were taken advantage of, and they usually don’t realize it until much later. I can’t see how the Halle, Keke, Nicki, Rihanna types can avoid this type of situation because a man could earning well one day and broke the next.
Plus the pool of eligible men with matching generational wealth is very limited. I doubt they were unable to support their kids..that’s not how child support works. However, when the courts are involved the goal is to ensure the standard of living remains the same at both homes.

Both fathers can definitely support their children on their own because they are both relatively wealthy especially Olivier Martinez who is worth 30 million. BUT not in the same standards that Halle can. So if Nahla goes to private school and must pay $30 a day for lunch or must do after school activities or anything she shouldn't have to do less when she is with dad. If Halle lives in a mansion, Nahla shouldn't live in a 2 bedroom apartment for 1500 a month when she is with dad. It's about the child having a minimum standard of care which is not too far below what she will have when with the other parent. The child's life should be stable.
