- Here is how i cover up my scarring alopecia. My alpocia covers the front 5 inches of hair line and it goes back about 7 inches in the crown area. i have a custom unit hair piece that i use from the front hair line and covers the shape of my hair loss.
Steps include:
1. relax the outside remaining hair that I have since I am wearing it short.
2. Clean skin (the area where the custom hair unit will be applied)with 99% alcohol.
3. Apply the tape and liquid lace wig adhestive around the perimeter of the custom hair piece form www.UpscaleLaceWigz.com.
4. Apply a skin protector around the area where the lace unit will be applied.
5. As the hair piece adhesive is a little bit beyond the tacky stage, apply the hair unit.

I have alopecia in my crown but thankfully I work with my stylist to get a beautiful trim(I am natural) because I refuse to wear a wig or one of these “things” on my head. Once my stylist trimmed my hair everything blends and you can’t tell where the alopecia is and I’m working on growing back my hair.
Exactly my issue looove the solution! Ty for being transparent! So pretty!

Hi love!!!!! I am Caucasian and have long curly hair BUT my crown and hairline is SUPER thin!!! I have a doll part hair topper, my question is.. how can I mold my hair down using what product? My topper has clips but I want to use double sided tape instead ❤️❤️ I would appreciate your input
hi ! I have used a product called gro n protect that I use to attach the unit and i wash it off when necessary. I also have used my lace wig adhesieve. I only use the adhesive if your ok with it on your hair. But my top is basiclly almost like my skin so I am ok with using adhesive. But if you have a nice amount of hair up top I would use the grow n protect product.
Morning Glory GRO-PROTECT Solutions Hair Protection 8 oz is the name of it. but i didnt use the glue after, i just used that product and use a dryer to set it. then wet my hair when I wanted to remove it. it was pretty secure. but not waterproof uless i used a glue with it. Then it was waterproof
I Love color to.😊❤
Thank you

Well I have been working
How did you mold the top?
Also what is the cost for this unit?
This unit is custom made.
@@kafuneamorhair how can I acquire a unit?
Why are you still relaxing your hair and using glue? What caused your hair loss?
It’s genetics. I still had hair loss, when I went natural. I use glue because that gives me the most secure hold on the wig.
Where did you get that piece wig top?
😍😍😍
This unit is what I’ve been looking for, how do I contact you to order
on our website, look up at the top for consultations 💜
What hair color do you use for your grey hair?
Lakeisha Gilchrist normally I die the sides black with permanent dye. Or a hair dye mascara brush.
Shemika Jackson any particular brand that you use for the permanent dye? I’ve tried dark and lovely but it did nothing for my grey
@@lakeishagilchrist3885 i use wella

Some woman magnitude of the disease won't allow the other hair to blend in. I'm quite sure they are HUMBLED and THANKFUL they can wear one of "these things ". I can only imagine when they lost their hair that they lost their confidence. Bravo to the You tuber who helps these women.
