- This is the first time this car has seen the dyno. This is just to get a good baseline hp number. The car has only been street tuned for driveability so far. The current tune ended up being VERY rich and why it didn't make very good power. The next dyno day will be to tune for more power.

That is one beautiful LSX! From the sounds of it, you could wipe up some STI's with that manual V8 with 325HP to the wheels and that limiter raised to 6450 rpm. Unless you don't have the original 3.9 jag V8? Tell me, what transmission did you use for the manual swap

I had a 02 and an 06 my transmission went out on my 02 I bought another transmission cost me $3800 after that it was scary fast. The cars are super fast but expensive to maintain
What kind of motor mounts were used? Were they difficult to do? Also what oil pan? I'm doing a swap on the Lincoln LS as well. There's not a lot of information on these kinds of swap. You're help is appreciated.

did you use the Ford 4.6 Liter DOHC cobra engine? It doesn't sound like the Jaguar 3.9 Liter. I wanted to this conversion myself. Did the DOHC cobra engine fit? Did you make custom engine mounts? How did the engine computer talk to transmission computer?
What did you doo too the car to make it sound like that cause I have a 2006 Lincoln ls that I’m working on and I’m tryna do some engine work to it just don’t know what I wanna do yet

keep in mind when getting a number from an inertia dyno they can very a lot. All of the that print out can be altered in some way. An accurate horse power and torque reading wont have a correction factor. It will be measured on a current dyno, and the readings will be measured in kw/bhp Inertia dyno's just measure wheel speed and the rate in which that happens. not very accurate. It can provide a base line and the can be very useful for comparisons after making a parts change, or a fuel map change along with ignition map and or timing changes. Definitely a nice ride.

Have a 2000 LS put a 4.6 with a 5speed Manuel transmission out of a mustang GT shit is fast then lightning I call it the blur race anyone out there with mustang or LS for titles

I got a 2005 lincoln LS I have had since 2015..caught it for 1000 wit 112k on the board..didnt know ANYTHING about this car till I 1st saw this vid..didnt drive it much and now, I'm under the hood..I've only drove it 32k, do my tune ups, changed my whole coolant system yearly..when I tell you this type of car, BUDDY, it should go down in history as one of the sportiest and luxurious car made..they should've stay making these..yo, I WAS RUNNING MUSTANGS AND SXT CHARGERS,,"tan they axx up" lolol
I think the easiest one to fix on are the v8s..your plugs in front of you, throttle body, maf sensor, egr valve and the hoses, radiator and fan, belt all that in front of you bro..there are NUMEROUS vids on the that helped me to fix my own car, even though I NEVER fixed on a car of mines, I saw how EASY it was for most, and difficult it was for others, however, i fixed it myself, made me so proud of me..then I slapped some 20s and I ride bro..these cars are stupid lit when you fix on them..

he could have builded his 4.6 or put in a 1000 hp 5.4 and save alot of money. The 4.6 and some bolt ons would have made more power. I have a LS 8 and make 550 to the tire with bolt ons. I have to give you a (-)
What a moron, a Lincoln LS 3.9 block would implode with half that power to the wheels plus there is no way in hell to make that kind of power with a 3.9

@@LtheDetective Chevy V8 engines are SOHC which is why you hear the cam. You don't hear that in V8 DOHC engines. This is a Chevy swap.
