No one has mentioned that the reason he left is because the couple is having a baby…thus the title Lavender, the paint swatches on the wall and him congratulating the couple on his way out. They have apparently decided to move their relationships to the next level.
This is a bit of a mystery to me. Excellent acting. What I don't understand is why he's hanging with the first couple when he has a perfectly fine man at home. I've heard it said that gay guys can't be monogamous. Is that true?
David killerman Love this movie 🎥 I'm kinda new to this , i guess the Covid brought out a lot in me , no no closet case here just kinda backwards about all of it , was raised with 7 other children in a Christian invarment , where we all was expected to be a certain way
This was certainly a cynical expose' of a certain type of gay men in a certain type of setting. I loathe couples like the one in this flick. They're self-obsessed, shallow and cruel. They're pretending to themselves that they're kicking this kid to the curb for the good of their relationship, but soon enough there will be another "third." Three-ways in bed can be hot, but I have never seen one actually work without someone being terribly hurt by eventually becoming the third wheel. People's hearts don't comfortably split into three pieces, the balance is never completely equal, it's impossible for it to be so. I also find the demeanor and social style of the couple to be annoyingly stereotypical, right down to the stereotypically gay way they sang show tunes. Even the banter and the birthday party's forced joviality was stereotypically gay. Then the third wheel goes home to his significant other who HE is cheating on, emotionally as well as physically, and, unwilling to consider being honest and alone for a while, turns to him for immediate consolation. I get the feeling he was waiting for the couple to ask him to move in and become a "throuple" with them, at which time he would dump the poor sap sleeping on the other side of the bed at home. Unless it was the OTHER guy's home. Ugh. Sad and ugly and soulless. The makers of this piece don't like gay people very much, or at least these various types of gay people. Maybe they have good reason.

He made his life complicated by hanging out with them...now he’s the one hurt

They all portrayed stereotypes, so if that was on purpose, then I guess it was good acting.
It's not true. Gays can be very monogamous, it depends what they want for themselves, just like everyone else...
I Am In A Monogamy Relationship From 🖤 The ☝ Very Beginning & I Am Too Happy 😊😁 To 🙏 Be Expressed In Words......
I have the other ending where he did not leave.. we love him very much...
It doesn't work that way.

Excellent movie, beautiful men
Beautiful on the outside. ghastly on the inside.
Three way relationship is not my kind of cool, call me an old school or jurassic but definitely I'm not a dog.

Those 3 guys should just remain single.
