- Here is a unique trip on the Montréal Métro where I go from Montmorency Metro Station to Vendôme Metro Station using the Orange and Blue lines.
Instead of just staying in the Orange Line between Montmorency Metro Station and Vendôme Metro Station, I decided to do something different: I took the metro from Montmorency Metro Station to Jean-Talon Metro Station on the Orange Line 🟠
I then switched to the Blue Line 🔵 at Jean-Talon Metro Station and took the Blue Line to Snowdon Metro Station. Once at Snowdon Metro Station, I got back on the Orange Line 🟠 and got off two stops later at Vendôme Metro Station.
I decided to do this extra long trip so that my viewers can enjoy two lines in one video and also to see how it's possible to get from one destination to another in multiple ways.
Also take note that in this video I was taking my time by deciding whether or not to use elevators, etc.
The entire trip from start to finish took approximately 37 minutes. How long would it have taken if I stayed on the Orange Line the entire time? Perhaps I can do a video on that another day and put it to the test.
This video was filmed on Friday, December 30, 2022 at approximately 5:54 PM Eastern.
Notable marks:
00:00 - Montmorency Metro Station 🟠
00:37 - Boarding AZUR Sent 48 towards Jean-Talon Metro Station
1:28 - Jean Talon Metro Station approach 🟠
13:45 - Walking from the Orange Line to the Blue Line at Jean-Talon Metro Station 🟠🔵
18:20 - Boarding an MR-73 metro train towards Snowdon on the Blue Line 🔵
29:40 - Snowdon Metro Station approach 🔵
30:05 - Walking from the Blue Line to the Orange Line at Snowdon Metro Station 🔵🟠
32:34 - Boarding AZUR Set 45 towards Vendôme Metro Station on the Orange Line 🟠
36:20 - Vendôme Metro Station 🟠

Great video Patrick My Favourite Part of the video is the tunnel Curve at Vendôme Nicely Done
Thanks Ryan. Yep the Vendôme Curve is one of my favorite metro features.
Good video - it's been too long since I was last in Montreal, and when I was there I used the metro extensively. Your videos show lots of small changes in the metro over the years. Thanks!
My pleasure. Yep there are many little changes that happen over the years.
Happy New Year!✨🎉
You too!
Here's my history, Bonaventure is where i work for the government via PSPC for my stage at school in late 2019. Unfortunately, it didn't last long.
I never been in McGill and one day i will.
Yes there are a few government buildings near by there. Thanks for sharing!
Happy New Year Pat🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
You too Jane
Good video, I was always fascinated by Pie-IX metro as part of my daily commute. You can see it was constructed for the Olympic park
Yep it is a beautiful station.
I really enjoy your trip inside the metro from the beginning to the end. However, I am curious what is the difference between the orange and blue line. Could you tell me, Mr. Patrick ? Thanks a lot for your trip and share this in the new year. Wishing you even more success in this new year and you get more and more subscribers,🙏🙏🙏
Thank you. The Orange Line basically is a U shape around Montreal while the Blue Line goes east to west in a straight line. Here is a good map to visualize
