LMU has quickly become my favorite sim. They have been improving everything every month on top of adding content. I’d also add, set your software to something like 900°, then do the same in the sim, then also make sure you check “use car steering angle” or else your steering wheels don’t match up, which I think is part of why your slow speed steering is giving you problems.
Yep this was a problem for me, it had changed after an update but because I have steering wheel disabled in cockpit I couldn't see the difference. Took me a bit of time to figure out what was wrong.
@@SimracingArnoutI'm really happy to hear that mate, I really want to encourage other people to play LMU it's great! I think I'll be spending a lot of time on it once the TSC cup has finished.
Bonjour Enfin sur lmu Très content J’attends avec impatience tes explications de setup sur lmu comme sur ACC avec lesquels j’ai beaucoup progresser merci Thierry ALMILO
Don't forget to update your graphics settings! Anti-Aliasing is off by default which makes l of the lines jagged edges which takes away from the immersion for me
What feels off is simply cold tyres, no tyre warmers in WEC. And every track used in future WEC will off course be added to it as it is the official WEC simulator. Leuke video trouwens 👍🏼
Is there somewhere I can go to learn how the game works? I'm driving fine in practice, but I don't understand all the modes, how it saves progress, and other basic functionality.
@@SimracingArnout There are many other areas that are not explained well with regard to game mechanics. How to do a formation lap, pit rules, etc. Neither of these examples are covered in the game literature (not that I could find), and no one seems to have videos about them, either.
@@ToddGreenIKR it is a good point. Why dont you contact me trough discord and fire up all the question you have, because there might be more who struggle with this the discord link is in my channel bio
I enjoy this sim, the force feedback is very good for a new sim and the graphics are very good too. I don't like that there are so few cars and tracks though. That worries me because I know they will want money for any new content.
@@SimracingArnout zondag komt een maat van me sim racen, driverswaps in mijn rig in een 6 uurs multi class race. Echt een heerlijke sim voor een race fanaat die al 7 keer bij de 24 uur van Le Mans is geweest. 😁

@ it’s an official licensed WEC Sim. So all the cars will be there. That’s why Mercedes will not be there and all of the above will. Should be in the next DLC
@@bhendrikabel well, Merc is entering WEC next year with IronDames as Lambo is leaving. So you might get it in 2026 with the DLC season 2 for some more 40+ of your local currency equivalent.

Thanks for the tips. Getting this sim for my son and myself this Christmas. We are coming from ACC.
You race together with your son? That must be special cheers
You will have fun. Just remember to take a lap to warm up the tyres that’s the biggest difference starting with stone cold tyres in LMU
Glad to see you gave lmu a go 👍
Yeah I enjoy the newness

I think he was referring to registering for the race prior to jumping into a practice… At least that’s how I understood it.
There is nothing off when exiting the pits - the tires are cold
I guess your right
