I think I have start using this module. Ripper is doing quality stuff. Foundry people should hire him.

And he's SO engaged with the community. He pops into these videos occasionally and just checks in with extra tips and such.

The click to target is such a great change, I've been using this for a few weeks now and it's a lot more intuitive for players. The portrait indicator is also great for players to know who they're targeting, but it might get a bit clustered when there are other effects, I personally changed the indicator to bottom right, since top usually show conditions in the right and auras in the left, when token are all together during combat things might get confusing. Great video!

Moving it to the bottom-right is a good call! Nice.

You can push settings to players with "monk's player settings" module. Too bad not all players click yes on that dialog to change settings.

Yep. Rather than pushing them through (and risking exactly that - not accepting them) I walk my players through as part of Session Zero - and it's a good opportunity to check token vision is correct, etc. I ALWAYS forgot to set someone's token vision correctly 😄

@@clay_golem It's good too check if their graphics card support rendering images to canvas with higher than 4k resolution. I've made test scenes to test that. Pretty much in all of my groups I have players with with incapable graphics card. And I always need to make sure that maps are smaller than 4096px in all dimmenions. Otherwise they see black scene. Some video cards are capped at 8k or 16k instead. 4k is lowest common denominator.
You can have maps with more resolution, but you need them split into tiles. Scene can be larger than 4096, but all image files must be under 4k. I use gimp to split large maps into tiles by setting guide lines. If map is just a little too big I just downscale to 4k.
Maybe someone else could have the same problem, next video idea for you 😉

@@ElektronikArzt I use Media Optimiser mod to ensure none of my graphics are above 4k, so for my players, that's not an issue I need worry about. It's a great mod that basically ensures compatibility regarding image sizes and dimensions. And also saves a lot of space! 😉
