My dad had a 1210 David Brown for years ,it pulled our jd planter and planted 1200 acres for almost 10 years straight ,,and still was running ..he often mention it was very easy on fuel. And that's why he ran it so much and never had to fill it up,,the engines were mizers on fuel use. You ll find that out

@@LynnKorte-ve4qf yes, they are easy on fuel but we have a leak in that tractors tank so we only put enough in as we need it. We would like to get it fixed. It's a great little tractor.

We ran red 880 and 950 David Brown's ,then 995 and 996, good tractors ,good starters, when it's cold there is a small tap under the fuel pump turn it fully to start soon as she fires turn it back.

Yes, we love them. When my husband and I were dating I would sit between his seat and the fender while he cut hay with the haybine. I wouldn't fit there now;) I will pass on the tip to my son. Thanks for commenting!

@@paulfearn1371 Yes, they are great! We just sent the 880 to get a new fuel tank and check her over. We want to use the David Browns for working the compost pack in our new barn.

Why build the silo so far away from the barn.

    • @HollcanaFarm

We have future building plans and use a TMR to feed the cows.
