I recall watching the original DB series, enjoyed seeing a brief look back at it again, great job. I used to drive one on our family farm in AUS back in the 1960s.
Such low hours. With continued TLC the David Brown 990 will outlive even your youngest viewers. Sir David Brown would have thoroughly enjoyed your video and production. I didn’t know he once owned Aston Martin and Lagonda
I bought an 880 Selectamatic a year ago. I think the previous owner took all his frustrations out on her. If you're ever near Copperhill, TN, USA, please stop by. I could use a few pointers.
Beautiful job, Steve! I really enjoy your videos like this because you do things right! It must feel good to use the machine after going through it so nicely. : )
Hi Steve. I am confused. I watched all your previous videos on the DB tractor. As I remember it, you did a great job restoring it, and it ended up looking pretty much like new. Is this a different machine, because it seems to have all of the cosmetic problems that the old one did. Looks like it has never been worked on. Or is this an old video reposted. Thanks,
I don't know if in different markets you get different gauges. On the David brown 990 and the 1200 I drove the tacho/rev counter had the spindle in the middle pointing both ways, but it's display had quadrants for each gear and speed rate as well as PTO range for both high and low. It's been a long time since I drove them but I think they were, , 540 and 1200? I'm open to being corrected.
That was an amazing job. It looks spectacular. Can I ask (sorry if it has already been asked and fixed): The fender lights - why "Red" forward and "White" backwards?
What a handsome tractor! One to be proud of for certain. Job well done!
Thank you very much!
Nice job enjoys your videos.
Glad you like them!

bonjour, vous avez une reference de peinture pour le chassis ,merci bon week
Beautiful job, but shouldn't the red-light be to the back and the white to the front?
yes indeed
@@D3Sshooter I was also wondering this when watching it. Was it something you did wrong or so? Or was it intentional?
Hi Steve great video on the 990 but the wheels should be painted white as well that's the way they left the factory
That is correct, and something I might do
