I’ve been Scrapbooking and Journaling since I was in High School. Preserving your Memories is so important. I never asked my mom for anything but when I was in the 6th Grade I asked her to buy me a Diary. She took me to the Bookstore and got me a Five year diary. I’ve been hooked since then. In 1988 I got my Country Diary and I got one every year until they Stopped making them. I’m now 58 and I still keep a Diary & Journal. I love my Planners - it’s like a Scrapbook. I have my friends starting their Planners.
2025!? Oh no where did this year go? I would love a video on what you plan on doing with your journals from over the years. I think this will be a very good outlet for me to get back into everything artsy
You are such an inspiration, I love your channel. I have been journaling since I was a kid, to me it is a therapy that helps me focus on my inner self, it gives sense to life and also helps to see things in perspective giving them the right place in life. Creativity is also a stress release and it nurtures itself. Listening to you is always a pleasure my dear, thank you so much for sharing so much of yourself ❤
I’ve been journaling for about 6 years now and I use my songwriting skills to create a magical world where I can just express myself and I’ve started 2 monthly journals and filled up on of them thanks to watching My Abiding Journal and I write music for my experiences and my own life and it started with me just journaling on a daily basis and I’m able to see my own growth in music form
You have inspired me to start several creative journals. I love the monthly summary spread as a memory keeper with photos and short journal entries. I also “junk journal” with a mix of collage, sketching, drawing, painting, as well as making the journals. I have started adding creative bits and pieces to my Bible study journal; it’s doubly inspiring! Finally, I have added monthly art pages to my planner, along with daily or weekly creative pieces as time permits. Creativity woven in throughout my day does bring moments of peace and stillness all day long and unexpected smiles when I glance at my planner or sit down with a journal. Thank you for all your inspiration!
Happy Saturday. Beautiful video and inspiring too. Ive been journaling since 2015 when I was hit with a depression funk. I found this channel an I binge all the videos. The I went shopping to see if I can find a journal and stickers. Dollor tree was my go to since I was just starting,. GOD it was a great experience and I haven't stop. Thank you for you inspiration and love you have helped me and still encourage me. love you lots. Blessings.
Sorry if you mention this in another video and I missed it - do you use any particular type of notebook or page thickness for your journaling? I went to start a few months ago and got hung up on the journal type and was worried that pasting pictures onto the page would bulk up the notebook so much it wouldn’t really be able to close. I started going through and tearing out random pages to give me more space but then I got worried I’d ruin the binding 😅😅😅
Great question! I have the journals I use linked in my Amazon storefront in the description. But also recommend this video to help you narrow down on the right option for you 😉 How to Start Journaling | Choosing the BEST notebook ruclips.net/video/9JU7EiVPWIs/видео.html

I love journaling as it is 30min a day just for me. Where I can just sit in peace and focus on nothing but the page in front of me.

I have been journaling since 2016 but had multiple diaries as a kid. I love how it makes me stop and reflect but also helps be grow my creative side.

Thank you for this! I really want to do this more!
Where did you get your wooden pens storage unit? It’s beautiful.
@@colettemarshall6891 it was a Facebook marketplace find. It’s a vintage triangular letterpress file cabinet.
Wish I had done this when my kids were small, and did do some on my grandkids🩷
Never too late too start. That’s great you’re documenting your grandchildren ☺️
What size journal do you use? Thank you!
