Wow it really does upset me that AJR is underrated, tbh they really are better than mumble rappers and all the others that mumble. Edit: just to clear some stuff up, I was talking about how underrated they as a group are, not their actual songs, people do know their big songs which is true, but not a lot of people know some of their not-so-popular songs. I honestly like the pretender acoustic version with just pure AJR voice with no one else.
When I first heard this song I heard the acoustic version and I had all the feels. Then I thought If this is an acoustic version where’s the real one? Found this song, got halfway through and decided acoustic was better. Then a few weeks later this video pops up on my timeline and honestly I’m floored. Exceptionally done.
