I spent about a year in the foster system and the family i was staying with was welcoming. Their adoptive daughter showed me this song and comforted me. I will never forget those times. Im back with my birth family now.

I just found out about this song and already developed a love/hate relationship to it... The melody (of "I've got a record player..." till "climbing in the trees") is magic, like it got me thinking about where this melody has been existing till now, because it seems hard to belive that it has been just thought of? it only makes sense when you compare it with some mythological sirens with magic singing... its amazing.
But than the raping and stuff is not matching the amazing melody, I mean, maybe it's unfair to compare it so.. Idk
