I won 3 times in a row with Baron Beasts. One of them, I hard pivoted after realizing that murlocs weren't going to work out when everyone else had all of the murlocs

It's seems like every time you try some other way of playing Hearthstone Battlegrounds it turns into some sort of Meta :P.
I've been placing first most often with good deathrattles, most often mechs, and then I get baron and win. Even won my last game after he got sniped.
I hope battlegrounds never become competitive, kripp is proving that win trading would be way to easy.
Or they could make it so that you cant queue with a friend to BG's. Maybe they could also find other ways to combat it.

Kind of a dumb statement considering TFT still has a huge playerbase. It didn't lose players just because of a new season, the popularity boom was also dying out.
@@murderousduck Yeah I personally prefer Battlegrounds because its more chill. Generally I would say TFT is the better game still. HBG would benefit from huge minion changes. People are joking that in TFT there is only 2-3 builds that work but look at fucking HBG. There is certain minions that are just filler so that you can't get the good minions on every role. There is certain minions in HBG that I probably have never bought a single time.
They need to move baron and brann to 6 add in the skeletal raptor that copies a death rattle, the pally card that gives a minion divine shield and sunwell protector

Just to agree with this i had golen divine shield woman and spawn, i was mechs on the rest and went down to 5 to then buy 2 rivendares on hand with a bomb and next turn sell most of my mechs to go full deathrattle build and it just went insane with the 3x deathrattle

Blizzard seriously needs to fix these animations, when you played Toki at 13:54 it took roughly a minute and a half. If that was mid game you'd have only 30 seconds to buy. In mobile, you'd badly have enough time to spend 10 gold with that much time, let alone play anything
It's so strange I actually do better on mobile for some reason, when I have extra time on PC I hesitate and make worse picks.

Rly? i kinda like the new TFT new rotations means meta wont be stale granted there r a few dominate builds but all have their own counters n some require alot of setup

Tft rotating entire sets of characters encourages casual play. If you dedicate a metric fuckton of time to learn a set of characters and exactly what build beats what in what situation, it just gets thrown away when the whole set is thrown out.
@@wysaab Well yeah, that's why they do it. Rotation is an important part of literally every CCG or TCG that is worth mentioning and while different, the burgeoning auto-chess genre is no exception. Yes, in depth knowledge of the mechanics and meta of any game that seeks to foster a competitive environment should always be incentivized. That being said, allowing top tier players to corner the market on that knowledge and never be forced to adapt will stagnate not only the meta but interest in the game itself. This shouldn't need to be explained.

I don't get how it is fair that one single minion can Counter a deathrattle build, but there is no Counter to divine poison murlocs at all
There is, Kripp demonstrated it
1. Play Nefarian, as your HP deletes all divine shields
2. Play Deathrattles, as the minions have impact even after dying instantly
It adds some rock-paper-scissors to the mix, as a heavy enough zoo build would beat Kripp's stuff here but lose heartily to divine poisons which tend to just have low enough health to get whittled out by deathrattles

@@Ben-ew9eu Alrighty, well then just try deathrattles. Deathrattles also weigh towards midgame and do a lot of damage on win, suitable counter for lategame murlocs which need at least 2 megasaurs to go nuclear. There's a reason why Kripp said it's some form of meta now

Yeah except you cant just sell all your stuff to not damage your friend... one will generally always win, forcing a tie is harder.
And if you did sell all your stuff you’d lose afterwards.

TFT needed to rotate and change small groups, not the entire set up so everyone has to learn a whole new game again. I understand it's not completely new and would be faster to pick up the second time around, but it felt like all the time you invested was just gone over night.
Tft set 2 is a complete dumpster fire. There are like 2 viable builds that take you to place 4 or better. If you want something else to work, better pray that the stars align so you get usable items instead of 6 negatron cloaks in a row against predators and glacial/berserkers
Sometimes I forget that TFT is still a game mode on LOL.
haha ur talking like ur lost alot investing in tft, it takes like 3 games to realise whats strong or not. the thing i dont like about set 2 is some bonuses are impossible to balance

Poison needs to go or the poison to all buff needs to be removed
I think making a new tech card would be sufficient. Something like adjacent minions are immune to poison. A cleave tech card would be cool too like a taunt minion that takes all 3 hits from a cleave.

Baron Rivendare isn't exactly a skeleton, but he is a Death Knight who was raised by the Lich King. He is commonly seen riding his Deathcharger, as depicted in the artwork on the card.

@@ru2225 When you couldn't play ranked* on the regular server but ranked was never down on the PBE server so if people hated not being able to play rank just play ranked on the pbe sever

And yes people would've complained about bugs had they left it up, but the hype wouldn't have been killed the way it did with ranked gone (ranked was what streamers mainly played coz normal were complete shit coz of noobs/newbies etc, isnt as fun). They should've made it like normal league and had intermittent maintenance times
