I say it almost every video, but i mean it... Everly Kate is so darn CUTE! That is such a fun age when they are constantly trying to jump around. It gets a little tiring for mom and dad's arms, but they just look so cute doing it. I hope that you guys get all of the paperwork back as soon as possible so that you can bring the family back to America to visit. Keep up the great videos!

DHL your docs to those folks. Stuff will just drag on. Took my wife and I two years to finally finish this process....while millions walk across the border of the US. 😮
Exactly DHL is faster, if only they have relatives in Manila, better to have it Lalamoved coz they receive that on the same day from Manila as well and they would release it to the authorize person that needs to receive it or something to make sure.

@DustinBackpacks yeah. Takes a lot of patience, but for me, I just left it up to His timing and a little luck.
You'll find yourselves in forums looking for advice, but I've found most of the time it just adds to the anxiety. You'll see: Suddenly out of the blue there is a break through...then you have to move faster to respond. Lots of praying during that process for sure.

Dustin, why don't you apply for a visitor visa for Reche and Everly Kate with their Philippines citizenship, which I believe that you already have approved? Then, try the process for Everly Kate's US citizenship while in the States. I find it hard to understand the lack of efficiency in the American Embassy in Manila.
A tourist visa would definitely be denied since the K1 process had already been initiated; it would be a waste of the application fee! You know they already tried before Reche was pregnant.
I just can’t understand the way the US Embassy works in Manila. How can they wait so long to open an envelope?

How about go to America with reche if it’s getting close to the date of her visa date and just get married in Vegas coz it’s hard to restart the process for k1 visa it will be hard coz you will be separated to everly for couple months and you can come back after 6 months at least I think just so it’s a not a waste the process of paper

Everly’s head is already near flat, I suggested before the cloth our elders place in the head to shape it round as baby’s head is very soft at this age and will be permanent as they grow older.
Dustin, regarding Certified True Copies of Birth Certificates, Death Certificates, Marriage Certificate I believe you need to get them at the local civil registrar where you reported her birth. When I had to get death certificate, the Philippines Statistics Authority documents were not recognized as they are not able to certify these as true copies. However, I would follow the embassy instructions.

Dustin ,I think you need to paint your railings with white paint it will look really much better. And I noticed that Everly somehow skinny for her age you may need to try other formulas. Are you fiddling her solid food now? You should start to introduce solid foods.
I don't know why she told you guys to go but ther the next day and then they ask you to go back there again next the next day weather insulting I think they know that you they probably thought you're a millionaire how they make their extra money when they don't do their job it doesn't take 10 months some people will only take it an immigrant papers that there were waiting for to be handed to them

Dustin i am going through same process. I have sent everything for the baby in to the embassy. I have tried to call the embassy, probably 100 times and I’ve emailed them and I’ve gotten no answer and no response. Do you have any information on how to actually be able to talk to someone at the embassy to find out the status of our application.?
They say on their website that an emergency passport can be issued if the permanent passport is not yet available in case of urgent need to travel. I have no clue how to order the emergency passport since nobody will answer the phone or the email. I even tried to Dial the number for US citizen in an emergency, and still, no one answered
Might there be an agent or business that specializes in this situation? While you do have to pay, these agencies have experience and direct lines thru the process. Timing is important.

Hi Kala time! We did go to two different agencies and they both said there’s nothing they can do since she is not in the system. One of the agencies did call psa for us and ask about her birth certificate, and they said sorry but she is not in the system. I’m thinking ok then put her in the system!! But they said we need to go to the psa office and do it in person which we have already done a few times
Please Please Please watch this video while you still have time, it’s called “Philippine Immigration Nightmare Experiences” from the RUclips Channel, Philippine Family Life with Leah. Very informative and lessons learned. If you haven’t already, you’ll need to secure a Philippine passport for Everly so you do not incur additional fees when leaving the Philippines!
While hearing this I looked at my daughters first passport. She was born 16 May 2002 in South Korea my filipina wife and I were not yet married. I received her certificate of US citizen born abroad in a matter of days. Her US passport was issued 14 Aug 2002...91 days after her birth. The biggest problem in the Philippines is the amount of fraud that is committed by applicants. Your legitimate application you submitted is being delayed because there are so many applicants that are not legitimate. And all that needs to be investigating therefore slowing down the system. I can only assume things are more complicated than it was 22 years ago. Good luck to you all.
Plus population in South Korea is only 40-50Million whereas it’s 120M in the Philippines so I assume the number of applicants here as compared to S Korea is more than double if not triple if u base it on probability and ratio.

Dustin- isn’t it your daughter was born in the Philippines, that makes her Filipino citizen? Would it be easier to get a passport then fly to the US as visitor. Then apply to US citizenship.

Being honest, the paperwork system in PH is meant to screw your deadlines. They don't want it to be easy for Filipinos to leave the country. You need legal representation to get things moving or find someone to bribe.

hi dustin. did they ask you to do a dna test? that's what happened to my son's case. they put it in the letter that it is not compulsory, but we opted to do it 'cos we think it will make the case move faster as paternity will be established once the result is out.

That is the big problem in the Philippines. It is a really nightmare when you want to get something like passport or visa because of so much bureaucracy. Government do not care about it. Unlike in other country like UAE that the process of getting documents is so fast.

On this episode of the Philippines: Today Dustin just gave us the update of the PSA and the US passport for Everly :P She still needs one more thing (Yikes...) Dustin was tired and surprised that it didn't arrived so he has to resent the documentaries :P Oh dear...
