You make a valid point that the price puts it in very close proximity with the Hyper 950 and the 950 is a lot of bike for a 15% premium

I traded in my 19' Hyper 950 for the 698. The mono is extremely capable and quicker then you would imagine, The improved electronics package, size and weight makes it superior in my opinion. comparing bikes on price alone for value the only upside the 950 has is the longer legs... The downside of the mono is how quiet it is stock... which can be remedied by termignoni with an extra 10hp

I got both 950/698 and agree for me its more fun and just as capable - until i crashed my 698 😭
