So, you know those public photography 1st amendment audit guys? A bunch have gone to the Alamo in probably dozens of videos. Out of all government properties in the US, the officials seem to particularly lose their minds to a very extreme level when they see cameras at the Alamo. Just a little info for y'all. You will be surrounded by security and law enforcement very fast if you go there and try it. No freedom of press when visiting this special building with non constitutional rules. This video is great, thanks.
I have heard the exact same thing! I travel to San Antonio often and although much has been destroyed and built over there’s still a feeling of great antiquity. I’m so curious as to the many secrets within the Alamo and its missions. I guarantee this tunnel goes much farther. Thanks for the input!
@@LuminaryLighthouse Cheers. I got to go into the oldest mission in California, allegedly, which is the Three Sticks Wine Company tasting facility. It sure was amazing but I didn't get to explore or tour much of it. A rich guy i know invited me. It made me imagine that most early missions and other early places are hidden behind rich people walls. For a long time now. It's not cheap to join the three sticks club for access. Not at all. But anyone can join with payment.
the Alamo is ancient is correct. I was studying old sketches of the Alamo and came across one that shows the Alamo with not 4 columns in the front but 4 stone? goddesses there instead. It looked just like the Erechtheion in Greece. It was repurposed as a mission only fairly recently in our past.
@@LuminaryLighthouse I butchered them all too until someone taught ME. I'll never forget pronouncing "Phoenix" like: "FO NIX", until I read it aloud in 7th grade and got laughed at. I was happy to be corrected by the teacher until I was reading aloud about the American Indians, and called the Navajo the NAVA JOES! That was a HOOT!
Why is that comma even there?
I’m not, sure

@@LuminaryLighthouse Thank you for everything. Cheers
Thank you for the input! I’m loving this
Is that where they found Pee Wee's bike?
This is without a doubt the best comment I've ever gotten. Thanks for the nostalgia!
Son of a… Pee Wee was right after all!

When I was searching for pictures there are so many that are manipulated! White washed sky’s and blurry. Thanks for the comment!
Great stuff, I enjoyed it. one thing tho, Wabash is pronounced WA bash. Thanks for sharing this.
Texans don’t pronounce anything right. Right or wrong it’s still fun to say lol. I appreciate the motivation!
Thames is pronounced: TEMS. Like number 10 with an "M".
But...there's an H!?!? lol. Butchering famous geological locations is what I'm best at.

Them Navajoes 😂😂 You just gave me anxiety reminiscing 7th grade popcorn reading!! Thanks for sharing
Nice bait and switch...how did we get to arc lights in Europe?
Severe A.D.D. Is how. Does ur mind hurt? I just go with the flow
interesting that they call Paris the city of light
Buffalo NY is also called “the city of lights”. Watch the film of the Pan-American Exposition at night. Crazy!
