You will be surrounded by security and law enforcement very fast if you go there and try it. No freedom of press when visiting this special building with non constitutional rules. the Alamo is ancient is correct. I was studying old sketches of the Alamo and came across one that shows the Alamo with not 4 columns in the front but 4 stone? goddesses there instead. It looked just like the Erechtheion in Greece. It was repurposed as a mission only fairly recently in our past.
