- Please check out this channel... put an outline for another movie here. I not only cried when I heard this, I cried thinking about it in the other room 15 minutes later!
GOD THE FATHER, SON, THE HOLY SPIRIT... GLORIFIED ON THE EARTH!
For those who don’t know, these are the opening lines of Jesus in the Passion of the Christ. Not the Lord’s Prayer, but the following: “Hear me, Father. Rise up, defend me. Save me from the traps they set for me. Shelter me, O Lord. I trust in You. In You I take refuge. Father, You can do all things. If it is possible, let this chalice pass from me. But let Your will be done, not mine.” Perhaps even more moving than the Lord’s Prayer, as Jesus spoke these words when he was suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane. He also says the “new commandment” discourse in Aramaic, and then in English.
Yeah my vast knowledge of Aramaic “abun di” is our father….so ends my knowledge lol.
That said. He’s outstanding. Pray for him.
Thanks for clarifying that. I'm currently learning The Lord's Prayer and it sounds nothing like what Jim was praying 😂 I now know why.
We find Jesus in the garden, praying the psalms to his Father: “Rise up, defend me” (Ps 94) “Save me from the traps they set for me” (Ps 141) “Shelter me, O Lord, I trust in you. In you I take my refuge.” (Ps 16)
If it is possible, let this chalice pass from me.
It was, therefore, not possible within Love.

It is still a prayer to Father. Just not the commercialized one everybody is so familiar with.

That's why no one in Hollywood will work with him right? Because he's so humble.... he's absolutely unsufferable on set preaching Jesus to everyone to the point they want nothing to do with him. To people who are not overtly religious or maybe on the line of what they believe (like me) these types of things can sometimes come off as overwhelming or even “extra”…but…anyone can see the true love he and people like him have for EVERYONE. He’s truly an incredible man who just wants us all to love each other and find God in some way. Idk what I believe but I feel like I’m on a path of discovery a little more every day. I hope one day I can feel the spirit of a higher power the way he does cause I can tell he’s more at peace than most.

Please go see this movie and take your kids. It’s teach them a lot about strangers and begin aware. This had got to be one of the greatest, informatively movies I have ever seen. I was blown away away, I didn’t know how bad it was. I was like the rest of the ppl that came out the movie. It was totally silence. Ppl couldn’t walk they was just leaning on the walls. 15 min in the movie, I almost vomited 🤮. I NEVER give reviews and don’t know how but one here it messed me up. I didn’t know, I just didn’t know. Yes, I was taught nothing and at age 14 my sister was screaming at me after a job interview in the paper answering phones with travel. I had no clue what she was even talking about until 40 years later. Wicked men have always been wicked.
