  • "Do It While You're Young" is a very rare track, done for Sandra's very short lived recording career.
It's one of a few I will be uploading later one. Hope you enjoy it!

Sandra had a lovely voice! She sings better than most of these pop singers today! Wish we would have heard more!

@4MaryAnna , Susan also wrote her autobio, "Bitter Sweet" which is out of print but I managed to get a copy second-hand. She was very honest about her life and her relationships, but she also had a lot of compassion for others, including Marilyn.

SANDRA DEE had a more-than-passable singing voice ~ I'm surprised she didn't sing or record a little more throughout her career. Perhaps if a Hit song had surfaced from her, she might have been encouraged to sing more often.

@4MaryAnna, Susan Strasberg was an actress, and the daughter of famed Method acting teacher Lee Strasberg. She originated the role of Anne Frank on Broadway, and some of her films include "Picnic", "Stage Struck", "Hemingway's Adventures Of A Young Man", "Scream Of Fear" and "Kapo". She also wrote a book on Marilyn Monroe, who was a close family friend.

I've been a Sandra Dee fan from the begining and I had no idea she has made any recordings.

@4MaryAnna No singing for Susan. Superb ac tress, extremely nice person, good writer. Something happened why her career didnt take off, she was the toast of Broadway as Anne Frank, made a few top rate films, but compared unfavorably to Katharine Hepburn in a remake of Stage Struck. She had a bad marriage to actor Christopher Jones, who disappeared after a big buildup in the 60s. Strasberg became uncommonly beautiful in the late 60s-70s, but only then got B film roles.

Wonder if there is a duet with Bobby buried in an archive somewhere?

A huge Sandra fan here..she sang just okay..Not as good as Ann Margret. I heard Tuesday Weld, Sandy was better. Hey how bout a montage of 70s and 80s Sandra photos so the world can see what an incredibly beautiful woman she had become, like Natalie Wood and Susan Strasberg reacfhed their heights of beauty in their 30s...I wish they had used Sandra more as a woman, she was a superb actress too, I saw her in a Night gellery i think called What David Says,
