Myanmar is amazing, I feel like living in ancient Indonesia, especially on the island of Java, very beautiful and rich in culture, I love Myanmar from Sundanese West Java ꦏꦼꦵꦆ ꦢꦶꦩꦶꦠꦷꦇ ꦢꦏꦻ 🇮🇩❤️🇲🇲
Oww!! What a coincidence! I felt the same the first time when I landed on the island of Java. I felt like I was born in Indonesia in one of my former lives _ which most people might think is strange. I felt like _ I have seen things in Indonesia before, but in fact, it was the first time in my life. The undeniable fact is that we truly have commonly shared culture and similarities. I lived in West Java and Central Java for a month recently. I observed the Sudanese historic sites and witnessed the diplomatic ties between the Sudanese Kingdom and Mataban Kingdom, one of the earliest state city kingdoms in the southern coastal part of Myanmar. I visited Sumedang and other ancient historic areas around. I truly love your people and your country, too. 🇲🇲🤝🇮🇩 Miss you, Indonesia.
I love Indonesia 🇮🇩 and Myanmar 🇲🇲 I am from Cambodia 🇰🇭. My girlfriend was from Bali🇮🇩🌺🫶🏽
I was born in Paungdale near prome where my father was manager of saw mill and Rice mill. We are from Tami Nadu. I studied in ABM school prome the school was on the bank of Irrawaddy River. Now I live in Chennai. The documentary is really took me to Burma. Great job. Now I want to visit Burma

Beautiful country. love from Bangladesh🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩

As an American retired in Thailand, my house keepers are Burmese, and the closest family went back to Burma 8 months ago, but we still communicate by mobil (cell phone). Yes I do wish to visit them some day with my foster daughter!
As a half Burmese second generation person, I enjoyed watching this.
Wow gr8 n beautiful country in South East Asia. It's people honest, kind hearted n welcome foreign tourist with warm heart.
Country now under fast development n prosperity. Wish Myanmar all the best for the future endeavour.
Nipu Nag.
nipu nag - Hopefully will aim to PREVENT new pollution, destroying forests and reject plastic. See China now: filthy, unhealthy, rich, dystopia. I no longer wish to visit. I love my lungs. Keep and honor craftsmanship and temple support. Of it remains beautiful, tourists can enjoy. I hope they protect small entrepeneurs. Otherwise, within ten years, everyone runs to city or factory for cheap jobs, give up freedom to work like slaves and starve in return for their labor...have no spiritual life anymore - like Korea and Japan. You have been warned.
@Taner Tune nonsense. That's mainstream propaganda and isn't true at all.
nipu nag yes but be careful dam china people ok
really superb documentary, beautifully made, beautifully photographed, with almost no tourists and without the loud pop music that everyone else seems to think obligatory for their travel movies
I very proud of my country after listening and reading the comment down below !! THANK YOU !! all you guys.

Once Forever I want to visit Cambodia as well
I like Cambodia more because is more older then Burma history, specially the Angkor temple
西楚霸王項羽 Bagan is older than Ankor Wat. Ankor was build around 12th century. Bagan is around since 9th

I had travelled along Irrawady River from Prome (Pyi) to Nyaung-Oo with a cargo boat. Even I was born in Burma, the people like me had rare chance to travel with a cargo boat along Irrawady River. I could never forget the lovely trip to Pagan(Bagan), ever. I love beautiful scenaries along the river. The smell of Neem flowers and the flowers of plum reached to the boat I was on. The memories of that trip will stay forever in my mind.
The boat captain is well experienced. He knows his job.
Wonderful documentary! Really loved it....

There is no such thing as a perfect country, friends. Every country has its own goods and bads, will you love it someone insults your country bcoz of your country's bads? Then don't insult another country bcoz of its bads.
Long live Myanmar , Long live India !
Mesmerized to know that People of Myanmar following all the teachings of Lord Buddha exactly without any change. Very religious peoples. It is like whole of Myanmar is a world Heritage site.
It is a heritage site for massgraves lol

Salam Myanmar.......
Yes nice film. Not too much commentary which is refreshing. I did this trip a couple of years ago.
Sorry you missed stopping at Kata where Orwell was based when he was in the army
It’s so beautiful!
I love it. Such pristine, such simple & beautiful. Just born inside India, other bank of Irrawaddy.
This is one of the best documentaries i have seen. However, certain major issues have been omitted out (!!) like influences of ancient Indian kings and their empire spreading beyond Burma., the strong religious, political ,cultural, ethnic etc bonding with Bharat (India). Contemporary life along mighty Irrawadi river is very well illustrated. Over all i liked this documentary.
Beautiful country love from Sri lanka 😍😍
I love Burma . I have a friend from Kayin tribe💕
Irrawaddy is such a historical river and a major route of transportation for the country.
Great film :)
