These in my opinion are one of the best looking, design studio monitors around. They have that much more expensive look to them. Not much on youtube about them though. Thanks for sharing your view on them, Man.

Focal has nice lows. Kali I’m not sure about since they had malfunction after 15mins in the speakertest we did 😬 came straight out of the box and the seller was pretty flabbergasted
Yes, and no. Eris8s are amazing for their price. r80s have a little more low end and a lot clearer highs, mids are about the same imo. If you get a chance to get used r80s, for around $300, go for it!
How is the self noise without signal? Is it less or more than those Kali 2nd waves I saw there? Kali did an awesome job with the -12dB noise reduction from the V1's.
are the v2's better than the old monitors ? most listings show that the v2's are twice as expensive than the old ones, does that mean they are twice as better ?
@@insideaudio7164 not true! the old model has a much better amplifier than in the second version, now they have installed amplifiers from the Eris series, and this is all just because the first series was not profitable in terms of earnings. Therefore, Presonus reduced the price of monitors, and pretended that this was something new, and it was better. In fact, the old model has a very good class D amplifier that outperforms the new model by a lot. I think if you were honest and you were not paid for a review, you would not be silent about it.

Ribbon tweeters always sound good when recording from a mic in a room and playing it back. It sounds much more natural like headphones

I'm in between PreSonus E8 Eris XT / Kali IN-8 V2 / Focal Alpha 65 EVO / Focal Alpha 80 (Mainly for DJing Techno music) Any advice / suggestions?
Yeah, you're taste and fasination but.....watch out and buy the right inch and demping the room (more important then the brand monitor)
