Glad to see there are some good ones out there. Important to show a good example.
I ordered my 23 scat for 67,405, unbeknownst to me because I wasn't paying attention Chapman's Dodge in Vegas charged me 78k💩
Have to watch out for add-on gimmicks to the MSRP done by the dealership, especially with those under an auto group. Commonly called a "protection package" or "advantage plan", these run in the thousands and are a joke considering what few & unnecessary low value items are included, like paint sealant & fabric treatment. Some dealers tell you it's mandatory and won't negotiate on the price, just be aware it is a disguised markup on the vehicle. Also often buried in the small print is that a dealer fee of $1k or more applies on all sales as well as exorbitant title & registration fees. Pure greed.
I see there Redeye is still 200k that’s 60k over on the Top models. So they are trying to move the cheap cars but still rip us off on the high end ones.
Let me tell you TK, CDJR dealers in my area (N. TX) are pulling all kinds of shenanigans. Every dealer in my area have overflowing lots. I have been trying to buy a Ram truck. All these dealer advertise spectacular prices online. They all want to get you on the lot. However, when you get there you find out they are adding thousands in b.s. add-ons. That smokin' deal online magically evaporates once you are on the lot. And the arrogant buttheads refuse to budge on price. They will let you walk out the door over their add-ons. This has happened to me at multiple dealers here. That's pretty slimey in my book.
same in so Cal.
Huffines in N.TX does not do that dirty crap on their CDJR. In fact, they have not sold any TRX, or any HC model with a markup.
From my experience for the r/ts to get the 35k, you need to be an employee. Most of the time, it is 39-40k OTD. It is going down, but could still use some work.
I would never purchase anything from Towbin. I'd go to Chapman Dodge before them....and that's not saying much.
Good to see an honest dealer. Keep it going TK
I appreciate that!
Wow TK glad Tobin straightened out and damn too bad I’m not in the market for a dodge! Definitely would grab one!
Hey don't get mad at TK we all make mistakes tk keep up the great content I've made those mistakes myself especially while texting
Love it. Good stuff, TK.
Much appreciated!
Thanks much for showing us where to look, what Dealer to consider/investigate regarding a potential purchase. It matters. Your efforts help. A Dealer being 'straight up' is rare it seems. Good on them.
Great job!
Thanks!
Towbin has been pulling deceptive practices for years, add on’s that they won’t take off or discount. I moved on to a dealer who didn’t have all the bs and bought a car. 🖕🏽sit and spin chopper 🖕🏽
so many dealers advertise demon 170 at msrp
Oh no, not Chopper! Lol
YOOOO
Yoooooooooo
I think it’s too little too late. Dodge buyers have a bad taste in their mouth and would not buy one any longer.
for every awesome deal there are 100 bad deals period never trust a car or truck salesman!!!!!
This is the problem with a lot of these RUclipsrs. Most that I’ve seen won’t step foot into the showroom and actually talk to the salesperson. They all just look at the online stuff or sticker prices. You need to actually go inside or you’ll never know what’s being done. I’m not saying there aren’t bad dealers, but you can’t just say they are all bad.
Also, if you’re the type of person that did get screw’d, then it’s not all on the dealership, it’s also on you. And trust me, you don’t want to only be able to buy directly from the manufacturer. Then it would be like everything else and you’ll have no power to get a better deal. You’ll have to pay whatever the manufacturer says you have to pay. Even though dealerships use dirty tactics to make the most profit they can, they still keep the manufacturers at check as well. You just need to educate yourself and don’t just expect you’ll get the best price. Don’t let the salesperson dictate the deal, you have all the power. You just have to use it.
