  • For those who are struggling in life...You're not alone. The Lord Jesus sees and He's with you. Instead of asking him to relieve you from the pain, ask him to REVEAL himself in your pain.
Paul the APOSTLE who was healing people raising the dead, delivered people from a shipwreck had deep pain and was stuck in several situations here are a few scriptures for understanding and strength.
2 Corinthians 1: 7-11 (Message) We don’t want you in the dark, friends, about how hard it was when all this came down on us in Asia province. It was so bad we didn’t think we were going to make it. We felt like we’d been sent to death row, that it was all over for us. As it turned out, it was the best thing that could have happened. Instead of trusting in our own strength or wits to get out of it, we were forced to trust God totally-not a bad idea since he’s the God who raises the dead! And he did it, rescued us from certain doom. And he’ll do it again, rescuing us as many times as we need rescuing. You and your prayers are part of the rescue operation-I don’t want you in the dark about that either. I can see your faces even now, lifted in praise for God’s deliverance of us, a rescue in which your prayers played such a crucial part.
2 Corinthians 12: 8-10 (MESSAGE) Satan’s angel did his best to get me down; what he in fact did was push me to my knees. No danger then of walking around high and mighty! At first I didn’t think of it as a gift, and begged God to remove it. Three times I did that, and then he told me,
My grace is enough; it’s all you need.
My strength comes into its own in your weakness.
Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a case of Christ’s strength moving in on my weakness. Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size-abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take over! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become. 2 Corinthians 12 8-10
I have my pains and struggles too...you're not alone but I know HE'S ABLE.

I found your channel because a brother sent me your video on Psalm 23 explanation to help me with my disability and struggles after my latest of many surgeries.
I enjoyed the singing and gathering in this video, but I am so glad I clicked on your description. AMEN!
The phrase in 2Cor1.8 is also translated "we were so utterly burdened beyond our strength that we despaired of life itself." This literally meant they contemplated, and possibly rehearsed suicide because life was so hard. After going through that Paul and those with him knew that their lives were not their own because they had already given up.
I've given up many times. Life has been so hard to me too through the thorn our Lord Jesus has deemed best to give me. And as you quote: His grace is enough. That is all we need.
God keep you rejoicing in His strength Kevin. Thanks for sharing this too.

Hey Dan God bless you for sharing your thoughts. Yes even Paul who is an apostle had thought his life and the others that were with him were over. I wouldn't pass it that the temptation of suicide was in their minds. However The Lord will help you endure. When Christ had to go to the cross He endured for the Joy ahead. So that means Christ Himself wasn't happy or joyful at all. The Life of a Christian itself is not based on one's own happiness but based on FAITHFULNESS. I can't tell you how many time I had those thoughts my self. However I'm blessed that you and other's who have watched this video feel encouraged.

@@kevinballard3650 Hey Brother Kevin! Thank you for your loving follow up. I am well. I have had a series of surgeries, and I am better off now than I have been in 5 years. God is good. He uses all these things for the good of those who love Him.
“See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains? You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand… As an example of suffering and patience, …You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful. (James 5.7,11)
Thank you for asking and rich blessings to you!
