Baby clothes advice: my daughters was born 10lbs! So we bypassed a lot of newborn/ 0-3 months clothes. Don’t over buy that size they really grow out of them fast or my instance immediately lol! She was the only infant in the nursery with a pink onesie because the little white newborn ones didn’t fit 😊
agreed! My girl was tiny and was still out of newborn clothes in less than a month!
I had the total opposite experience where my baby girl was in newborn sizes until she was 3 months old and now at 6 months she’s still in 0-3 month clothing. I personally wouldn’t buy much before they’re born just have enough on hand to get by and purchase sizes as needed!

Good advice. The sizes don’t mean that amount of months old, they mean the amount of time the item should fit your baby/child.
My son was 8 pounds and bypassed newborn clothes 🫠😂
Onesies are good for all year around, they're layering pieces, the Nike onesie pack of 3 is good quality and washes well. The tan nike one you got, the sleeves fold down around the babies' hands so they don't scratch themselves.
My girl was just under 9lbs when she was born and still wore newborn onesies for a solid month after she was born, so it really just depends on your baby ☺️
I feel like you really can’t overbuy sleepers, and I love having cute outfits for when we go out so buy whatever you want for clothes! Everything this little girl has outgrown has been donated to a new mom/baby so it’s never wasted ❤
Also, the modal fabric onesies that Cloud Island at Target makes are awesome! The fabric is stretchy so they last way longer than the label says ☺️
Make a vlog where your partner speaks to your in Spanish all day or where you try your best to vlog in Spanish :)
If I understood you you're getting rid of the side table and the front coffee table. I just can't imagine turning around over and over to put my drink up and to take it down and to put the remote up and to take it down, to put my snack behind me and turn around and get it and put it down

Seasonal colors aren't going to matter much for when it comes to the onesies. Maybe for outside outfits if that matters to you, but he'll be in and out of those onesies so fast due to messes and growing. I'm so excited for you both.
Yeah I would not try and plan seasons and clothes bc our 5 month old is in 6-9 month & 9 month clothing so all the summer stuff I bought does not even fit. Also, do not get the super thin sleepers bc they are soooo hard to get on and off bc there’s no structure lol just some tips I wish I had 😂
Just remember your baby boy will be rolling around mostly inside in just onesies. You can also layer them under long sleeve ones. So get some cute fall/winter short sleeve ones. ❤❤
I love your decor, but mama when baby boy starts to crawl…. That aesthetic will be done. I have rubber ends on all my end tables, gates every where and no more vases 😝

Regular short sleeves onesies are great year round. Babies can go through so many a day with diaper blow outs, spit up, etc. and they’re good for layering in the cold months.
The onesies with the two zippers are the best!

People don’t realize that just because someone is plus size doesn’t mean they are seating there eating crap all day everyday. She eats one bad thing and people are mean to her about it

I always purchased footless 1 piece outfits and socks. Both of my kids were preemies, as their feet didn’t reach the bottom of footed ones. Onesies are a must, short sleeve to pair under their outfits to keep their tummies covered.

Not one of my children came out wearing a 0-3 month old clothing item for more than a week. Don’t be fooled by the sizing.
We found that the zip up onesies work the best. The snap ones take forever to snap and they wiggle so much. It’s hard to get the snaps to match. So just an FYI when you’re picking out onesies pick out ones that have zippers.
Old navy has the BEST ribbed footed onesies! Super stretchy and comfy for a sweet newborn. Welcome to boy momhood!

Onsie advice: snaps suck, zips are way more convenient and 0-3 month are ok, but they grow out of that quick. It's fun to get cute ones, but you'll learn quickly that you'll prefer practicality. I'm so excited for you!❤
I’m confused why something 9 months would stop you from getting it? He’s going to grow lol. Also 9 months clothes means 6-9.
Also highly recommend buying bigger clothes for baby boy as well. My oldest stayed tiny so long but my youngest was growing out of things over night 😅
All 3 of my kids were big babies and started in 3 - 6 months size.

Where’s your necklace you’re wearing at the end part of the vlog from?
One thing I didn’t know before my first baby was “3 month” clothes are actually 0-3 months, “6 month” clothes are actually 3-6 months, “9 month” is actually 6-9month and so on. I assumed 9 month meant they start wearing them at 9 months but actually they start to grow out of them at that age.

@@SweeteaLady65 when you’re having your first baby the last thing you wanna do is have to buy secondhand clothes, however she’s not “above” buying secondhand clothes, she’s done it quite often for herself. There can be a lot of cute clothes to buy secondhand because they barely wear these clothes. When I was a new mom, I bought most of my stuff brand new and then when the baby got older, I started buying things secondhand when I realized how quickly they grow out of things and how expensive the clothes are.
I would wait for clothes for next year but if you do get it I would get 12 months for next summer
You can never have to many onesies of all sizes and short or long sleeves any season
Buy ALL different sizes for baby boy… trust me. Babies grow SO FAST. 😅 They almost NEVER fit in the “month” sizes that they actually are. (If that makes any sense lol)
Lol I got lucky that mine followed it until she hit 18 months and then the sleeves were too long and pants were too short. All babies are so different

BEST places for boy clothes - TJMaxx, Old Navy and GAP (ONLINE for both, WAY cheaper and way more stuff!) Target! Sometimes H&M and Zara too ... both online as well! 😊
My son was born in late September, New England ended up having a heat wave! We bought a couple summer clearance items to get him through and keep him cool. 🩵
My sister’s dogs name is Bruno as well and we also call him brunito and I like to call him brunacious as well haha
And even in the Spring and Summer they need long sleeve because they are colder than we are with ac on.
In our family Grandma is Mimi and Great Grandma is Gigi 😊
old navy/gap (and their outlets) and h&m are the best places for bo clothes! look for onesie with a double zipper, or top to bottom zip- makes changing, especially at night, much easier!
I recommend Little Sleepies brand sleepers for the baby. They may fit him a 3m and 9m! Theyre made with super soft stretchy bamboo fabric.

I was a big baby I don’t think I ever fit into new born I think from what people said I was in 3months from one month I was nearly 9lbs at birth and I was tall so don’t get too many new born clothes September babies are statistically a bigger baby !!

Hey Alex❤ xcited for living room redo coming up. The couch would look good where the tv is now and tv where couch is now. Youd see couch when you come in with the new table you have coming behind it. Also tv wouldnt block as much when you walk in and youd get more view of window next to you fireplace as you walk in you know. Really think it look beautiful to see couch and pictures ,and new long table as you walk in instead of tv. Whatcha think? I can picture it in my mind. I also love decorating and rearranging furnitur etc. HAVE FUN AND I CANT WAIT TO SEE IT ALL CHANGED and cant wait to see what coffee table your getting. @@debb159 it’s the Samsung frame TV and she’s had it for many years now. It’s pretty cool cause you can change the image in it whenever you want to and she just recently bought an actual frame for the exterior of it so now it actually looks like like a piece of art. It is however very expensive.

When I lived in CT I would go to those food trucks all the time! They are right on the water right? So fun!!!
I'm sure a million people have mentioned this, but to figure out the baby's size, you double their age. For 3 months buy a 6 month size. For a 6 month by 12 month size. My babies are 29 and 21 now, but this is the rule of thumb I followed and it worked well. So happy for you and Yar! Congrats! 🎉
It depends on the actual baby. My son has always been exactly what his age is.
That would have never worked for my daughter but it's interesting that it did for your little ones.

When it comes to baby clothes 9 times outta 10 they are a size or two bigger in size on the tag then how old they are so get those bigger sizes! My 5 month old is super average sized 40th percentile and is in 6-9 month clothes already! Only wore newborn size for 2-3 weeks. 0-3 for maybe 6 weeks 3-6 for 2ish months. Love your videos they got me through the 4 month sleep regression. 😵💫😂 I be watching at 2am most of the time.

Everyone is saying to go bigger in Baby clothes but my Bariatric surgeon told me that babies born to Bariatric patients tend to be on the smaller side. So I would take that into consideration also.

Baby clothes advice: short sleeve onesies are good for layering and the Gerber brand clothes run small and are just made weird don’t recommend that brand. Also since you and yar are taller your baby is probably going to be bigger like mine who was wearing 9 months clothes at 4 months
