Besides her obviously high intellect, she is so wise and such a delight to listen to. The interviewer was also spot on with questions, and allowing Sarah to get her ideas out clearly without interrupting her. Fantastic interview all round.

What a great video, thank you very much for sharing it with us and for the opportunity to listen to Dr Myhill! She is a legend and she is a real hero - fighting with NHS system being a doctor, a part of this system, is truly amazing and one needs balls to do it!
I first heard about Dr Myhill when my teenage daughter suddenly started having fainting episodes. All blood tests were fine, so doctors said it was anxiety and depression and put her on antidepressants. Then antipsychotic meds. Then on top of it on blue and brown inhaler for her asthma. Jeeez, how I wish I had found Dr Myhill much earlier, not when my healthy, active girl was turned into a very sick person by NHS :-(((. I attended Dr Myhill's webinars, showed her blood tests results , followed her advice and guidance. To make a long and painful story short: may daughter stopped having fainting episodes, she is off blue/brown inhaler and miraculously recovered from asthma and she slowly weaned off antidepressants. It is still a long way to fully recovery after the damage that had been done to her health but we are moving to the right direction. I will be forever grateful to Dr Myhill and the lady whose name I don't remember now (another desperate mum from internet) who recommended me to have a look at Dr Myhill's protocol. We could be better and more disciplined about the diet, I must admit. This video is a great reminder for us to be more conscious and more deliberate about to diet as it is the key point.

When I was thirty and virtually crippled mentally and physically I asked my doctor the same question. "Do you think it could be something I'm eating." He wasn't as polite as you; he laughed his disgusting head off in my face and I suffered with the same miserable illnesses for another thirteen years until I moved out of town. My new doctor sent me to an immunologist who put strait on an elimination diet and my ills vanished in days. That was thirty-five years ago. I'm still on it, vegetables and I just don't get along. Cheese doesn't like me either.

I'm in tears because I believe this may be what saves my life! I have Sjogren's, Fibromyalgia, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I was on Plaquenil until 4 months ago but my Rheumy retired and since I have been in pain, swelling, can't think, and so fatigued that I feel drunk and sedated. I've been thinking it's not having the Plaquenil. I've also been wanting to die! God must have lead me to this because what she described here is everything going on with me! I have been carelessly bingeing on carbs and sugar! I'm going keto tomorrow. Life seems hopeful!

this must be one of the most informative and influential podcasts that I have listened to, in my search for understanding and reversing my various chronic conditions and improving my general health. Thank you Sarah.
When I heard you say that you ask your patients to think about when they last felt well I suddenly realised that all my current gut issues stem from the time of my Type 2 Diabetes diagnosis . Since that time , I quit sugar and most Carbohydrate and I replaced it with huge amounts of cheese , milk , cream and butter .! ........ Starting today I will start an elimination diet of Dairy and see what happens ..I shall also look for a supply of Natural Desiccated Thyroid and start taking Iodine.

Fascinating podcast. I’m mid 60’s, on no prescription medication & I don’t have CFS or ME but sometimes do feel really fatigued with little energy & have a fair bit of joint pain over the last 5 years. Pre pandemic I had lots of blood tests for various things but they all came back “within normal range”, whatever that means! GP’s don’t seem to talk about optimal, maybe they don’t know what optimal is. I was amazed to find that different labs have different reference ranges which seems totally mad to me. I’m enjoying your podcasts & would love to hear about Vit B12 deficiency and also pernicious amaemia. My dad had that & had B12 shots for over 20 years before he died at 82 & I do wonder if B12 is part of my health issues. Of course my bloods were “normal” but my understanding is that just because there’s sufficient in the blood, there may be absorption problems. Having done Lifecode GX nutrigenomics testing my results suggest I actually don’t absorb B12 very well. Thanks for your interesting podcasts.

Love how Dr. Myhill explains in simple language with compelling analogies what happens when our gut, brain, heart, or any other vital organ has to plug into faulty or slow energy delivery mechanisms day in and day out. Consider pouring petrol into a diesel engine... we can all do so much for our health if we fill our bodies with the right fuel, and it's never too late to start. A big thank you to CNM's team for sharing this powerful, insightful video! 💚💚💚

Why is the NHS taking no notice of Dr Myhill's approach - too threatening to the pharmaceutical industry? If her approach was more widely adopted it would save millions in drug costs and it would empower patients - maybe that would not suit many of today's medical profession either? Long may she carry on is all I can say!

I’m soooooo conflicted! I’m studying at CNM and have used mainly plant based with fish and eggs for my own autoimmune issues. CNM advocate for organic high plant, rainbow colours, legumes, non-gluten grains, limited organic meat, wild fish, organic eggs etc where Sarah is adamant that we need a paleo keto diet with restricted veg (mainly green) and loads of meat and animal fats, which feels acidic.
The arguments and anecdotes for both are so compelling. What is the best long-term? It’s actually stressing me out 😅. Blue Zones sway me towards a more varied diet, but the Paleo Keto camp are sooo adamant, listening to them I’m won over every time, but my gut instinct resists.
    Thoughts, Bobby, please?

Great interview! However the section where Bobby Qureshi talks about psychosomatic disorders at around minute 23, he implies that the symptoms experienced by patients with psychosomatic disorders are not as debilitating, when in fact they are very real and just as life-limiting. It would be helpful if this was made clearer. Suzanne O-Sullivan has some fascinating books on the subject if anyone is interested!

Even though I don't believe everything she recommends, I appreciate her work. She has researched the condition and identified it is pathological mitochrondrial dysfunction. She has destigmatised the illness.
When you have M.E being disbelieved by everyone is an added burden one doesn't need. Her work informs us of the cause and solution. It's sad but predictable they sue her. The NHS is run by pharmaceuticals, they know the cause of diseases, its not difficult with their resources. They just don't want us to know. Far better we consume, get ill, and be dependent on their drugs for life. If we are well, well where's the profit in that?
