The only time the doctor is being invited somewhere to Karamo Show which is foul. It's funny how the doctor comes out and got Dana sponsorship for her play and she did that and did not have to do that. Dana is absolving herself from her bad behavior.

Dana does not feel empty. She is unhappy that her friend is no longer available in a way that she used to.
It was a projection on his part. IMO the problem is not lack of healthy communication etc. but serious character flaw on Dana's part. She constatntly creates the toxiness. She calls her "friend" names and suggest that only her friend needs to change. She is unable to listen, attacks and interrupt, lie (reasons for being unable to be present) and does nasty manipulative things to hurt or degrade her friend (power play and excluding, missing her friend's birthday and housewarming parties without the need to explain herself etc.)
I cannot see one toxic thing on her friend's side. Only hurt feelings and realisation of being disrespected and used.
Dr. Bonita is NOT the problem!! Dana IS the problem!! I learned from an early age, that females are drama NOT all of them, but enough of them for me not to have so many in my circle. When I say, I learned as a teenager and it is still true to this day. I used to tell my daughter to stop calling everyone her friend within a few weeks or months, she is so giving and does not meet a stranger, BUT she has learned several times over what mama was trying to tell her. To be called a friend is EARNED!!!
My SO CALLED best friend does this. I just consider her a FRIEND now. She will show up for everyone else, except me. And had NERVE to say, i act as though she isn't suppose to have other friends. That made no sense to me because i have other friends. SOME friends, and best friends don't care about your feelings. It used to hurt, but not anymore. When you start to feel like like you're more of the friend in the friendship, let it go!!

I really feel that this friendship has run its course only because the older we get we are stuck in our ways and our tolerance for behaviors change. We make moves based on the actions and character we see in each other. When you are young the term friend don't hold as much weight but when you get older you are looking for mutual loyalty and respect. I should never have to beg to be acknowledged in a friendship, I would go silent real quick.
