He's right. There's actually nothing out there to acquire. It's our thoughts and mind that lies to us into believing that we have to get "this" or "that." That we will get something.
Once a separation happens between thoughts and actual-existing, you can just watch the mind without caring to judge it, almost as if you don't understand another language... you will be more at ease with the World, as it was intended to be. Very simple stuff.

There's no too much difference between UG Krishnamurti and Hank Bukowski, the only thing is that the second would have probably kicked you if you rang his door. Krishnamurti had the unpleasant situation to be associated to the spiritual and religious stuff; that’s the reason because his words sound so obscure and relevant. The one dude said "If we sit silently together something's going to happen". That's the idiotic seeking mind (sorry, nothing personal against any apparent characters, just a general remark), always looking for something else, something better "over there and then". It's so simple. They could be talking to some animal, like a cat. Them (well, the apparent so-called "them") pestering the cat would eventually cause the cat either to try and run away, hiss or to claw at or to bite them. Then there continues to appear further mental superimposition of assigning some kind of meaning onto that seeming behavior of the cat that wants to be left alone and live normally. "There must be some hidden meaning in that behavior, there is something that I don't yet understand and will if I keep at it" etc.

Thanks for these UG videos. He's an interesting character for sure, but not a true "teacher" (which I'm sure he'd agree with). IMHO, he had a profound awakening to "no mind," but was unable to make sense of it, or integrate it in a skillful way. There's no question that he had a very deep realization of the Absolute....but sadly, got stuck there (witnessed in his hardcore, absolutist presentation).
As a result, his realization was not complete; and therefore, his "teaching" was/is not very helpful to most aspirants.. Emptiness and form need to seen and understood as the one indivisible Reality. In fact, he might very well have been helped by a genuine master to get unstuck from the transcendent. Just my opinion. Either way, he was indeed a fascinating character.

    What is metanoia?
Metanoia is a Greek word consisting of two members: meta and nus. Meta means a deeper level of analysis of the following field. Nus means thought. So metanoia means not a change in thinking but looking at thought from a higher level than it is. Although metanoia leads to a deepening of faith, hope and love, it has nothing to do with them substantively. It does not examine the meaning of thought but the effect of its functioning on morality.
    Thus:
I convey as I have come to know myself.
What is freedom of self from self. One should devote at least 10 minutes a day to this meditation. No one and nothing should interfere with it in the sense of forcing us to do anything. One should choose the most comfortable position for the body. Eyes can be closed or not. One should start by realizing that I am thinking, not what I am thinking about. This is very difficult for someone who adheres to the Cartesian principle: "I think, therefore I am." It is not a matter of focusing on the fact of thinking, but on the intention of recognizing that I can see myself thinking, rather than observing the content of my own thoughts. If you can get to that point then you must aim for the point when you can literally feel the physical movement of thoughts in your head. That's it. The point here is to detach yourself at least for a moment from your center, the ego, which gives us no respite all the time enslaving us. In the beginning, you only observe thoughts associated with a certain abstract or pictorial content. This is normal. With time, however, one begins to see the essence of the thought, i.e. its physical movement in the head. It is very subtle therefore it takes time and regularity for this meditation to catch this fact. If you succeed in this, you will taste freedom and subconsciously begin to seek it in ordinary, everyday things. You will feel very secure with yourself in the face of the world around you. It is not important whether you feel that you have done the meditation well or not. The only thing that matters is whether you have the intention to see thoughts as movement in your head and not what that movement is. This is not an exercise of meditation technique. This is an exercise of intention, and that intention is a complete negation of the intention you have lived by so far.
This meditation, although it is not religious in nature, leads to God, who is Spirit because it uncovers natural religiosity. In this freedom, Satan has no access to our soul because he can only place opinions and doubts in our minds, and in this meditation their annihilation takes place. For there is a certainty in it based not on thought. When a person perceives his own thoughts in this way, he hears these thoughts as shaped by God in a language of love that cannot be expressed in human words.
To reach the source where thought is "produced" is to know oneself.
The purpose of this meditation is not to exercise, but to deepen intention. The more perfect the intention, the more fruitful the meditation. In meditation, you do not acquire awareness of the mobility of thought. You acquire a mobility of attention that matches the variability of thought. Because of this, thought has less and less time to pour content into consciousness. The idea in meditation is to see the content of the thought as little as possible accurately, and to see the movement of the thought and the emotion accompanying it as accurately as possible. The content of the thought is perceived by the subconscious attention. The movement of the thought is perceived by the conscious attention. That's why you comprehend everything subconsciously all the time, and not consciously. It's as if you are alternately experiencing a dream and a nightmare. There is not even one breath of freedom in it. It is not the mistakes of our lives, but emotional memory that keeps us in check.
Emotional memory is always attached to some thought content no matter how deeply hidden in the subconscious.
Only by noticing the movement of thought can you overcome the inner fear of the thought content and free yourself from its dictatorship.
The next step after noticing the movement of a thought is to perceive the vibration within the thought itself. Thought is sound. You know that "Faith is born of what is heard...".

      Loose thoughts:
Emotional memory is always attached to some thought content no matter how deeply hidden in the subconscious.
Only by noticing the movement of thoughts can you overcome the inner fear of the thought content and free yourself from its dictatorship.
The next step after noticing the movement of a thought is to perceive the vibration within the thought itself. Thought is sound. You know that "Faith is born of what is heard..." (Romans 10:17), right?
The more you see yourself in another person, the more you fulfill the commandment to love your neighbor as yourself.
The more subtle you are in your perceptions, the more spiritual you are and the less carnal you are.
Conscience is supposed to distinguish, not judge. The difference is very subtle.
The truth must liberate you without your knowledge or consent. Otherwise, it liberates you willfully.
Since the devil is ruthless in covering your soul with the darkness of your mind, you must also be ruthless in tracking it to avoid being covered by it.
You say that God cannot be loved in any other way but by thought. And I tell you that thought cannot love. You are using the wrong tool.
In meditation you don't get rid of thoughts. You get rid of their meaning. You don't get rid of emotions, but sentimentality towards them.
In prayer, the content of your thoughts tells what God you are addressing. The sound indicates Who you are talking to. Likewise, it is "with whom" or "which neighbor" you are talking to and thinking about. The priority of perception shows two different levels of reality.
Logic is a tool with which you want to animate abstract perception although it has nothing to do with living reality.
Meditation must be effortless. For in the intention there is no effort but there is openness to the unexpected.
Logic creates the impression of apparent movement of thought. With schema, however, you cannot follow even in imagination its actual movement.
Even when you are wringing your hands outwardly, know that it is the body that is expelling the accumulated energy of frustration to return to homeostasis.
The effort of the mind during meditation is a mistake because the mind is trying to find itself in what it knows and not how it functions.
It is through the complete withdrawal of the will that full perception occurs.
The will interferes with perception in such a way that it pushes an attitude towards every thought. What makes you blind is the belief that thought cannot exist without content.
Observing the movement of thought is an exercise of proper attention of the soul. Observing the movement of emotion is an exercise in the proper withdrawal of the will.
There is no "I want" in the intention. There is no "I see" in the will.
If you are constantly preoccupied with the question "how?" then you will never ask yourself "whether?"
Reason needs will to be active. Spirit needs intention to be free. Guided by reason you must do everything. Guided by spirit you can do everything.
Discipline of the will does not bear fruit but discipline of intention bears abundant fruit.
In meditation, you unlearn the use of will, that is, the pursuit of any conclusion.
When you use will, you fight conviction with conviction. When you use intention, you see everything and fight nothing.
The soul can know the world through the mind. It can also know itself through the world. In the latter case, the mind is in a passive state and cognition is spiritual.
Initially moving thoughts must be concrete to see their movement. But only observing the movement of a formless thought is a sign that the subconscious is being released.
In correct meditation you learn to position your soul, that is, to be aware of where you are and what you are looking through your soul.
Fight for intimacy for the soul rather than for its expression.

I AM exists only in psychological time. This time between thoughts is self knowledge and creates IAM. Seeing the movement of thoughts without content is seeing and knowing the self and is the death of IAM. Although spiritual attention can only focus on the points of moving thoughts, the mind's attention creates an illusion and convinces itself of the impression that there is "something" between these points, and since this "something" is insufficient for the mind, it must fill it with content. The content, in turn, can be understood when it is narrated. This recounting creates the illusion of time or recollection of what happens after the thought movement has occurred. Thus, the mind interprets the thought movement not as something primary, but as something secondary. This is because the primary becomes the meaning of the thoughts and not their movement.
In meditation, thought must get out of the subconscious (id) into the superconscious (superego). For only inspired thought will reach there. An example is Jesus, who listens to the Father speaking from heaven. Literally, the thought must come out as indefinite from the subconscious and float overhead. It is only there that one recognizes what inspiration is. For nothing uninspired will reach consciousness from the thought above.
What triggers the movement of thought is the inner emotion coming from the subconscious (id) and not the abstract content, which is the result of trying to read and classify it in the field of consciousness (ego). This is why focusing on the content of a thought that has no energy in it is so exhausting. An emotion must literally flash into consciousness in its content, and this only so that consciousness can direct it as such towards the superego so that there it becomes completely dissociated. For there it is the very nature of thought that is the idea and not its content, and therefore there thought is deprived of its venom of abstractness.
Nostalgia is a longing for the constancy of the dead content of thought. Anxiety is a hatred of the unsteady movement of thought.
Only with intention can you inactivate your will.
What is the meaning of thought?
What is thought? Is it an enemy or a friend? It is neither. It's attitude toward it is what determines our state of existence. Basically, thought is a response to an impulse coming from the body. In its animal nature, through thought, the brain tries to adjust externally to this impulse, e.g.: I'm hungry>I look for food, my head hurts>I grab for it. However, the brain although the most complex is also a part of the body, and this is where the problem begins. For the brain can hurt sensually (headache) and this is natural. However, it can also hurt neurally and this is a completely different kind of pain. We, however, simplify and want to treat it the same way we treat any other condition: by removing the pain. So whether through psychotherapy or drugs, we try to bypass (psychotherapy) or block access (drugs) to the tangled neural clusters. So the diseased area of the brain remains diseased. I would compare it to a floppy beach ball that has no air in it and is, on top of that, disorderly twisted. Every child knows that in order to separate the walls of the ball you have to let air into it to make it take on a functional and desirable shape. It's the same with neurons. You have to put electrical impulses through them to revive them to start functioning by attaching themselves to the whole neural network and activating other parts of the brain. Image so that the computer can use the full working memory and use all the algorithms correctly. The brain that has entanglement of parts of the neurons begins to use the wrong algorithms. Information through bottlenecks or blockages is not processed correctly. Wrong conclusions are made and therefore wrong antidotes and wrong responses are generated. The result is a looping and conflict that can last a lifetime and can further spill over through this modus operandi to other parts of the brain creating new pathogenic areas.
So how do we get the neurons to return to their original functions? How to "straighten them out"? Well, thought has 2 characteristics: movement and its own vibration, or if you prefer a curve of its own frequency. We have no influence on its movement because the brain endogenously generates it by itself. And that's a good thing, because we don't have to worry about whether it's doing it right or wrong. We simply have no influence over it (some think they do :-D ). We also have no influence on the frequency curve because it is supposed to trigger a specific action of the organism for a purpose known only to itself, the structure of which is determined by the brain and is recorded precisely in this harmonic curve. These processes run at most in milliseconds and take place continuously just like all biochemical processes in the body. So what can we do? There is only one way out: not to interfere. And how do we interfere? We treat these harmonic curves as tasks for our will and abandon the most natural way to respond, which is intention. The will seeks ways to match the content, and in this it is very brutal to the biological organism punishing it for any insubordination by "plowing it down," treating it as a wagon loaded with its own ideas. Intention flows from an understanding of this indefinable hum in the brain, which is true biological harmony. If it weren't for the human will, which desires to mouth everything, the brain would constantly persist in its natural alpha state, a state of deep peace and self-protection (self-protection) for it. Until we understand that any content that appears in our consciousness in the form of the content of our thought is an anticipation of the will's attempt to execute the thought's command we will be stuck in constant conflict. It is not that we are innocent. And how, we are guilty of this and how yet. Here it takes humility to actually not approach this infantilely but with full commitment with the conviction that it's only up to us to change our approach, and we have to go into this process ourselves without assumptions and actions but with pure intention to understand. The yardstick we feel is the quality of peace we feel towards any challenge posed by the thought content. The quicker we freeze the engagement of the will because of knowledge of the content, the deeper the understanding of the process. Mindfulness of intention is key here. The question of skill is how large an area of our lives we will cover with this natural understanding. That's why I gave meditation on thought movement as an aid.
When attention follows the movement of thought then unconsciously the illusion of psychological time, which man erroneously recognizes as a form of eternal life, disappears. That's why he so desires that which seemingly lasts forever in time. Thus, it is the state of affairs that lasts forever and not what consciousness of that state sustains. Eternity is beyond consciousness, which is entangled in perception time. If there is movement itself in the field of consciousness then there is no more time to keep up with it. The observer gets into the car whose movement he has so far been following from the side of the road.

      ULTIMATE INTENTION
The queen of all intentions is the one that surrenders to all that is, without using supposed knowledge of it.
There is a time of specific reality here on earth but he has nothing to do with the idea of time. Man imagines time as a chronology, a succession of events, and therefore, giving himself time to perform something, he never performs it. For example, I decide to build myself a house. I give myself time to do it. In my imagination, after that time I will feel that I have a house when I live in it. Nothing could be further from the truth. As a rule, we forget about it as soon as we cross the threshold of the house. Of course, physically the body experiences being at home and comfort for the senses, but the senses are not part of our personality. They can only influence it. Personally, however, we will never find ourselves in the senses. They are separated from us precisely by chronological time. In spirit, we experience immediately outside of time. We translate this "immediately" into the senses by means of imagining chronological time. The spirit is in a loop of itself where there are constant changes of state outside of chronological time. Man cannot comprehend this and therefore gets caught up in chronological time, i.e., with the help of the senses, he fishes out the chronology of his mental states. When man returns to his mental state he does not return to his new self. He returns to exactly the same state in which he left it. One may ask: "Doesn't man thus save himself from stagnation, boredom, depression?" It is precisely the opposite. It is the escape into the aftermath that deepens the hidden stagnation, or rather, the self-image of depression. For we are not escaping from the so-called emptiness but from the idea of it. After all, can emptiness be something contentless? We, through fear of something that does not exist, fall into absurdity.
What happens when attention can grasp the movement of thought without its abstract content? The true nature of thought or pure emotion is revealed. It is it that is the true source of life energy.
A breakthrough in observation is the sensation of soothing peace during the movement of thought and emotion. This is a sign that the brain has entered a natural working rhythm. It automatically ascribes to intention the desire to experience every thought and image reaction in this way. This is called unconditional love.
What is the difference between will and intention. Using will, you will never find yourself observing yourself reacting. Only intention endures and relieves the mental tension that prevents you from seeing yourself actual. This is because will automatically engages a kind of emotional attitude, a kind of intellectual assumption about what you are reacting to because of your identification with the abstract content of the experience. Using will, you immediately "know" what you are experiencing and the emotion accompanying it is learned and known from the past. With intention, you are always experiencing a new emotional experience.

It is very hard to come to that conclusion.. 😂😂😂..but at the same time, so consecuent... what is life? An ilusion..
