    From what I've seen most casting instructors do not properly explain upper body mechanics (hand and arm position) during the sweep and into the firing position portion of the cast. It's great to see it broken down and explained clearly here. I know from experience a lot can go wrong if mistakes are made during this part of the cast. Thanks Tom! This is great!

    OUTSTANDING video! I had been watching and mimicking what I’ve seen but had missed the subtle extension in the strong arm to double the butt travel distance and load. Thank you for posting this! I can’t wait to get home and practice.

    This spey casting is beginning to be more like golf... and I hate "GOFF". Hell, habitat design is starting to look easier! On the other hand, I learn better by simply watching without all the explanation. Thanks guys!

    I get what you are saying but what if the water is flowing the other way how would you set up Then?
