Thanks for the tour of downtown Philly. I haven’t been there since 1974 when I was in the third grade and I do write a fixed gear bike. It’s not my main bike. I don’t know what day this is that you’re writing I’d probably would expect in a big city a lot more traffic unless it’s may be a weekend. I don’t have brakes on my fix gear and I don’t skid. I just ride very defensively and pick and choose when I’m gonna go fast . I love fixed your bikes. I think they’re so cool. You feel so connected and they’re so simple and a clean bike as a fast bike
Man, I’m a 67yo roadie, MTBer and gravel rider living in Voorhees, certainly ‘interesting’ for me to see the roads that I know but not at those speeds or ‘on the edge’ like you ride. Careful out there.. 😮 but damn dude, you got skills. (And as u may know.. “chicks dig guys that have skills”. Hopefully you get that reference. 😜)
@@TuesdaysTurn used to use my usual track bikes to film but recently I've been using a Giant TCR since it's easier to stay right behind someone with brakes.
@@humansweredesignedforbikes Smart. I always use brakes when filming, and when I'm filming the really fast peeps who are climbing I cheat and use an e-bike lol
I hear some creaking from that Campy BB. Better sort that out asap. BTW - what tire size & pressure + gear combo you runnin on that 9 mile commute to Cherry Hill? 🫤 Be safe, cuz!
28mm front 32mm rear, 55psi front and rear. 50-16 ratio, the noise is the kmc bmx “heavy duty” chain, they sound funny but I wanted a chain with a half link and it’s a cool color
ok nice video but as a cyclist my self who runs a cycling event every Sept for Law Enforcement and First Responders who were lost to suicide due to PTSD fixed gear bikes with no brakes are not allowed for safety reasons being that the ride takes place on public roads in Phila and is police escorted --- the climb up the ben frankling bridge yes you are a strong rider but for your own safety you should add brakes to that bike
@@Indegoat what i think is lame is a cyclist riding in traffic with no brakes what happens when he cant stop and hits some one walking and hurts them or worse well a law suit for sure and maybe charges pressed against him

Loved the way it's filmed. Best way to film cycling in my opinion.

Ben Franklin did not invent the lightbulb, or daylight savings. But I love seeing someone bike this assertively through our city😂
Sick video! What bike(s) do you usually ride while filming?

Welcome to my neck of the woods. 😂
Why tubeless??
Tons of benefits no pinch flats, faster, seals punctures, lets you run lower pressure, but my main reason is comfort and ride feel.
Put me to shame on the bridge climb wow
Where tf is the brakes?
it's a fixed gear so you brake with your legs
Throw rocks at cars. Thread the needle. Living wage salary. Drivers on phones. No portal? Really? Nice ride...
Keep riding like that in Philly. We find out soon
oh watch out guys big internet tuff guy porkchop1343 is out to get ya
