It would be amazing if the single guy could actually buy it! Somehow, someway, a Filipino would need to be involved and on the title, which would not make him a single man after all.
I’m in Cavite, built a 3200sq ft house. 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom, vaulted ceilings, 6 split air conditioners. 3 acres on a tropical forest at 9000 ft above sea level. Custom wood work throughout
FYI--the highest elevation anywhere in Cavite (Philippines) is about 2400 ft above sea level.
They are both nice houses but I have my reservations about living in a glass house in a typhoon prone country. Apart from that, I love it!

This is a great house and investment. I like the idea of living in the "glass" house and renting out the other one. Makes it easy to keep an eye on your rental property. If I was younger and already in the Philippines, I'd consider it but I think I'd have to be married to buy it legally.
This is exactly the kind of deal that I am looking for in the Philippines. Live in one house and rent the other one and it would pay for the note on both properties so living rent free and building up equity. I could swing this with a four or $5000 down payment.
