George Ezra is one of the best musicians in the 21rst century. His songs, his marketing and so on is not "How can I reach the most revenue" it's more like "I want to write songs for me and want to make people feeling happy by listening to my music"

There's nothing boring about Georgie boy. I love this record, favourite record of 2019 so far. George Ezra is one of the most true to himself artist to come out of England. He didn't sold out on the second album and songs like these, are magic and so important. I bloody love it!

This song could not have come at a better time. Call it serendipity, a miracle or a happenstance coincidence. Even so I know very few things are. This time last year, I had just found George Ezra’s “Staying at Tamara’s” (I first head Shotgun through Slacker Radio’s workout mix) and this was the third song, after Hold My Girl that struck me.
I am in love with it because I was in the worst increases sadnesses of my life when this song and video came out. I thought I wasn’t going anywhere, i felt overwhelmed; doing too much but also not enough.
“Pretty Shining People” was the first song of the album S@T. And the moment I heard it when I first heard the album, it was like his voice sang in unison with my conscience, that “everything will be alright and you have people who care about you.” “We’re alright together. Don’t we all need love? The answer is easy”
Then, a few days before this very music video was published, my coworkers and I got news that our program, our part of the organization we worked for would close. We were essentially all given 15 months notice.
I wasn’t happy to hear that and quickly fell into sadness again, but after subscribing to George Ezra, this video was released three days after that announcement. And I didn’t feel as alone, it served as a reminder. Up until I started my current job at a new employer, I listened to almost the whole S@T album every morning getting ready for work. Trying to remind myself that I was not too much or too little. Just enough. I was only human, There are things that happen, they don’t always matter. If you have one person in your corner you have a whole lot more than you know. You’re alright together.
I just want to thank George Ezra for publishing such a great album. On the off-chance he reads this, and thank you, for reading my long slew of a comment.

Aghh! How adorable is this video! It reminds me that everyone has an inner kid inside. Most people are under the impression that being cool and aloof, which they deem ‘adult-like’ is the way to go for others to take them seriously. We all find that in the long run, keeping up that pretence of hardness and false maturity is just exhausting because in the end, WE ALL DO need love. And that love comes from embracing our inner kid and having someone give us that unconditional acceptance we long for!
