4:40 This man is 70 years old, folks. SEVENTY YEARS OLD!!!! Just WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He sang that verse with a lot of power and emotion
Просто ахринеть!
A true powerhouse of a singer.
Prayers for Richie Faulkner after his emergency heart surgery...
Long live the Priest !
Richie Faulkner it's a incredible guitarist 🔥🔥🔥
Their another LP is gonna be superb. Even better than their last one. Can't wait
@@davidknichal6629you were right btw
The Greatest metal Band of all.
Isn't it just Robby nowadays?
@@elijahwhistler4795ian hill and scott travis have been in the band 55 yrs and 35 yrs respectively
Rob's voice gives me goosebumps!
Tim Owen is far better
Will there ever be another band still this good after almost 50 years????
No sir!
I was at this show it was the opening night of the tour Rob definitely struggled through a lot of the show
No no way at all
Iron Maiden
Probably not!
Almost 71, saw them yesterday. Still badass.
I was waiting how he still hits the note "You're possessing me".
Rob & Ann Wilson are the two rock vocalists still impressing me. this Touch of Evil is the best i’ve seen maybe ever from him
4:39 Guys! I have shivers all over. I havent heard him in this form since 90s. this is literally another golden age for priest. we have KKs Priest along with Judas Priest and Rob is 110% at the moment. Only sad with Richie Faulkner condition. Get well soon! Been long journey but lets hope it keeps going for a long while yet. 🤘🇬🇧
Seu comentário foi ótimo e preciso!
Como Rob Halford entrou nesta turnê com a voz tão afiada, vigorosa, rejuvenecida enfim!!!
Abraços do Brasil,amigo priestiniano!!!
Very nice. Two of my favorite Priest songs right there. Ritchie doing the justice on guitar.
Get well soon Ritchie. The metal works needs you
Damn Richie absolutely CRUSHED the ATOE solo, beautiful. What a player.
Nah, it's rushed and lacking the emotion of the original...
@@PaulMappud lol OK I'm sure you can play it muuuuuch better. Most bands play the songs a bit faster live, nothing to do with Richie in particular.
@@1Love2Customs : I'm shocked at what some folk will accept as being served up as Judas Priest, are you not able to hear the signature sound of guitar players ? Halford & Co are really taking the piss and your cash...
@@PaulMappud I'm more shocked that despite the entire band (including Glenn) more than giving their blessing to Richie to do what he does there are still fans out there who think they know better lol. I'm watching this performance on RUclips so I'm really not giving them any "cash", but I happily paid for the Firepower record on vinyl which has some of the best tunes they've put out in many years. Sorry you don't enjoy them as they are now, but we're all entitled to our own opinions so I really don't feel the need to argue about it. Rock on :).
@@1Love2Customs : Who's arguing ? You said he crushed the solo, he didn't, end of...
Damn rob still has it at fucking 70 years old!!! And Richie is just absaloutly nailing Glenn's solos!
HEAVY METAL GODS I LOVE YOU
God Rob looks SO happy singing Rocka Rolla! I hope we get many more tours from Priest but I fear they are nearing the end, cherish this tour guys.
That's gonna be sad day for every Priest & Metal fan, I know it has to end eventually, It's hard to even think about.
I was trying to think back and remember the first time I saw JP live as well as the opening act, I'm pretty certain it was 1984 Defenders of the faith with Great White. After that I haven't the slightest idea how many times I've seen them since, it's been a lot especially if you include Halford solo stuff and the Ripper years plus October 25th of this year.
@@irocitZ I saw them for the first time just two weeks ago in Moline, huge Priest nerd but unfortunately born too late to truly see them in their prime. Luckily Rob put on one hell of a show still, and Ritchie had no problem keeping up
@@matthewpalm7484 it's always pretty cool when someone younger finds a band like JP, I saw them twice on this tour. I was up close both times, I'm still blown away how good they sound. Did Glen Tipton come out at the show you were at? I have a feeling KK will be back at some point, at least I hope he will. If that happens that will be very close to the classic lineup, definitely go see that.
@@irocitZ unfortunately Glenn didn’t show for moline.. but their Rock n Roll hall performance had 3 guitarists and both originals
Santa Halford on lead vocals LOL
GRANDE “JUDAS PRIEST”, CON SUS 50 AÑOS SIGUEN MOSTRANDO AL MUNDO QUE ELLOS SON LOS ÚNICOS Y VERDADEROS PADRES DEL HEAVY METAL! SALUDOS DESDE CHILE 🇨🇱
Rob yeah thank you♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Really hope there will be another live release after this. They're digging so deep into the catalogue these days, Saints In Hell, One Shot..., Invader, Blood Red Skies, wow...just fantastic versions of some serious deep tracks.
God damn! He still kills it...
Faulkner is such a beast...
Judas Priest é HEAVY METAL puro....!!!
Best rocka rolla version I've heard
WAIT HOLD UP !!!! rob is 70 freaking years old and still sounds like that oh hell to the yeah yeah ,,,
Thx
Touch of evil is so beautiful
Saw them Monday night in Rosemont, IL. Halford was epic. The band was epic. Don’t miss the show when they swing by your town!
Me too!
My favorite priest song touch of evil glad they played it its been too long.
Amazing ROB!!!! Still got it after all this time & they are only tuned down a half a step!!! ROCK ON!!!!
Rob is singing these songs better than he did 10 years ago. He's really becoming more comfortable with his voice, and he's learned how to really nail those high notes with his modern limitations.
Song TOE is tranposed down a minor 3rd to Eb...Original is F# for information
I understand your anthusiasm, but 10yrs ago he was singing them in the right key, and could last the notes without echo and flanger
Yeah but keep in mind there could be technology behind it. You never know.
@@mtbiker4life918 technology is behind evry musician except Justin Bieber🤔
@@mtbiker4life918 There is obvious reverb and echo... but Halford always used it.
I scope no other technological improvement like key adjustment or autotuning ( which can be done live actually )
For the record, their almighty legendary but infamous "unleashed in the east" was greatly overdubbed ( guitar and voice ) to sound more accurate to the album... ( kiss does the same BTW )... so Priest is no stranger to "improving" Halford sound...even in 1979
Long live judas priest
A touch of evil amazing friend thanks so much
Best live in cam ever. Thanks bro!!! lml
Miss you Glenn
Amazing performance Rob in good form
Good job Jim on the video! Thanks
Awesome band as ever and the Most powerful song.
Sounds good. Richie is great
he gets alit of guff for pointing at fans smileing.like yngwie..ppl need to be happy they are still going instead of picking on there stage antics.. stay hard
not bad cover band!
Still jammin
Rob still has a great voice but not quite like 30 years ago.. I'm concerned , why is he holding his head after singing some high notes? Is something going there?
5:12 RESPECT ROB HALFORD. GOOSEBUMPS.
Hallford e Glenn Tipton são o topo do metal.Judas Priest minha banda favorita
Que kaspos los señores musicos de Judas Priest
Wow! Amazing! Video. Good Quality. Thanks for share. I saw Priest! 1 week ago in Orlando,Fl. Real Heavy metal band. \../

У меня билеты 2020-го года лежат, ждут своего часа!
Rocka Roll holy shit
I was hoping for Run of the Mill, but I'll settle for Rocka Rolla
My second favorite song on Rocka Rolla! After the title track of course.
Me too..
Run of the Mill is a masterpiece! Only diehards know that gem!
@@sean7735 Diehards is right. That album sold less than 10,000 copies
great tone on Rocka Rolla
Rob sounds good on this one! It seems like the high pitch thrashy stuff just does a number on his voice but this one is good!
Великий Judas priest
Rob got his septum pierced I see. Sweet...🤘🤘🤘.
The band certainly miss Tipton and Downing.
No, they did not! Downing quit about years ago and Tipton chooses Ritchie because of his amazing guitar playing! So shut up with this!!!!
@@JESTERSPUPPET1976 Oh dear me, I've been going to priest concerts since 1974 and without Downing and Tipton it ain't Priest.
Agree.
@@JESTERSPUPPET1976 Without KK and Glenn this is a COVER Band.
Oh, Priest has no right to exist, because of Downing and Tipton aren't in the band anymore. So than, you must go to them and say that they have to quit! Bullshit! You are not a fan of Priest when you think so.
Y siguen haciendo historia!!!!!
Was at that show
in their prime tickets were like 20 bucks and you could be about 5 feet from them and they kicked your ass. ahhh, the good ole days.
Дедушка уже еле ходит, но поёт вживую! Респект! Много недопевцов фанерой промышляют...
Truth...Glenn Tipton is one of the greatest heavy metal guitarists ever...but without KK he would have been average and forgettable. That duo was beyond awesome.
Fuck yeah!
Ritchie fell. So sad
La clasica tactica para disimular que es una banda a medias es sacar joyas relativamente jamas tocadas y judas no es la excepcion
best song off Painkiller. . great song, good to see these A leaguers crushing it
For once I'm in complete agreement with you in every regard! \m/
@@tobydurkin8321 good sign for you to be in agreement with The Rock Oracle
Love this outro solo by Richie 10:06
Why the ads wtf
No KK, No Glenn NO Judas Priest.
"You're possessing me..."
I know that KK has his own band now, releasing an album shortly but I would LOVE the following: A new album from Judas Priest as a farewell work from Rob, and then the band to welcome back KK and Ripper. Rob would pass the torch to an awesome singer and the band would be kinda "whole" again (never liked Sneap's addition). Rob could always teach Tim a thing or two about awesome vocal lines and stage presence 😉
aguante judas culiauuuu
Santa Priest?
IMHO Rob is a better metal vocalist than King Diamond!!
Possibly the BEST metal vocalist of al time.
@@dostoyevski9423 I agree to a point. Some of Ian Gill and early work like Child in Time set the stage for people like Rob. I saw Priest in 81' the first time and have been a fan since Sin After Sin !!
5:55 what a chame!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its playback!!!!!
that’s an echo bro
Robs really struggling with the high stuff gone very deep to sing it cleaner, still a badass, just lost a bit of intensity as a band, were all getting older but, you don't have be old to be wise🤘
Whats the voice?
That's the voice of Heavy Metal.
I'm lost, what happened to Glenn? I know KK is with Ripper
Glenn has parkinsons so he can't perform live with the band anymore. he is still in the band and still writes music for them
@@KarmaPupper Thanks, sorry to hear that
6:37
Pondè as vocalist?
Q pena verlo así los años hacen mella no intenten el suicidio ofrecer Judas
cheater woulda be cool!
10:04
Oh pappy you gotta lose the wiskers
It's good but how much better would it be if kk downing and r.faulkner together ...it would be so much better ! ...just my opinion .r.faukner is playing both guitar parts on some of the songs .Andy sneap..this the best they can do ?
my thoughts exactly
Could be worse, could be Janick Gers. 🤢
@@21Piloteer 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Andy's playing is so stiff, soulless, great producer nonetheless.
It will be so much better KK and Tipton. Ritchie is great but its like a cover guitarrist without Tipton on stage.
GGUITAR STAGE PRESENCE IS SORELY LACKKING
This was good, but I would love to see them perform this song in its original form.
atouchofevil is one of my PSN names. 😁👍💯
Only problem with Priest these days is that Rob keeps looking at the ground or read the lyrics.
Other than that they sound great. Absolute legends
Rob did that well before autocue monitors ever hit the stage- he often crouches right down to squeeze the air out, common among metal screamers. I saw him in the 90's with 'Fight' - I was within touching ditance and it amazed me hoe much effort he put into it.
Time for rob to rest
Sorry folks, but without Glenn Tipton seems like a cover band. Ritchie was only playing KK solos, but now he have to play all Glenn solos, and Andy its just standing there. Ok its interesting to see Rocka Rolla and some obscure tracks been played again, but without Glenn or KK the songs are dead, specially songs from the 70s. It's boring.
Yeah, they kind of slaughtered Rocka Rolla. Scott isn't the best drummer for the groovy 70's stuff either.
@@hubbabubba9695 I like Scott playing the 70s stuff, it get more heavier, but John Hinch drumming in this is gold.
This guitar duelling gone now, don't get it. Isn't any priest guitarist expected to be a shredmaster? Don't underestimate Andy, a nice guy and super intelligent, I used to trade tapes with him back in the day. Also he has been playing huge stages since a teenager, the live experience when doing someting that big is what separates amatuers and pros. But give him space to play or find someone that can -like me even !
A plus is clearly audible. And I have big doubts that Rob sings all this live, especially the high notes. It started with the Firepower tour. Here and there a slight out of sync or studio is noticeable. I really hope that this is nothing more than a way to improve the quality a little, and Rob did not start doing such things in his old age.
You can definitely hear the original recording but I think it's only used as backing vocals to boost the sound
It's not as if he can't do it, he sang the entirety of Exciter fine 🤷
What he's doing sounds even better xD
The dude is 70yrs old.
That's just copious amounts of echo and reverb to make it sound fuller than it really is. It's not prerecorded, if it were it would have been identical between gigs, which it isn't. You can easily compare this version with Bloodstock, for instance. The truth is, he goes full on falsetto on those bits these days and it would sound weak without the effects.
Uff Halford que
decadente está
Its nothing without the original Line Up. Bad Guitar Solo with mistakes. ....Ridiculous
Time to shave Rob. 😞 sorry
This drummer is out of time ! Oh well
awful .. . they live on just milking the cow , after Painkiller everything has been uninspired and lame. Cant compare these decadent performance on how they were decades ago. Also Have seen them live after 2005 many times... tears of deception every time. But well.. they need your cash !!
