Some racing pilot put a new engine in a f4f hell cat in the 70s80s and that still holds the record for fastest prop. Wish I remembered the guys name. This is the fastest currently flying if so.

There's something about massive intercontinental bombers that bring me immense joy. Just the sheer size of the things is so cool to me. Even if they'd be completely useless in Warthunder, I wish Gaijin would add them so I can fly around in a Tu-95 or B-52.

There should be a massive incentive to escorting a bomber, like gaining Rp and Sl for flying in the vicinity of the bomber, maybe then all the bombers wont be cannon fodder

People saying these strategic bombers don't fit in WT are the luddites that thing that RB is the only mode in the game. Gaijin could literally drop these into the game tomorrow and they would have a place in Sim. The maps are already large enough, they have objectives to take care of better than strike fighters can, and they could replace the current AI bomber formations with minimal effort.
Problem is: Gaijin doesn't care about the sim community anymore. AB and RB are their money makers, so they're always going to pander to those audiences first. Not to mention that it is a bit silly to add something that only has a use in one mode. They really should work on improving RB a bit, larger maps, more objectives, longer matches. Then again, seems a lot of RB players are against that.

Yea i think they should add more of the Cold war bombers such as the B-36 the B-47 and the B-52 to complete a american bomber tech tree

Its the early version of tu-95. Newer ones have upgraded systems integrated in the nosefront. Tu-142 is based on early tu-95.
