that line was about the xxl freshman class. jay rock got invited but Kendrick didn't, but Kendrick traveled with him. j cole was late to the meeting and Kendrick offered to take his spot. if you listen to the full stanza he tells most of the story
"I was at xxl just trying to excel
      networking, meanwhile my stomach turning
wanted to be a part of it cater it to my audience
      j cole running late
if he don't show up, think I can take his place
      ladies start laughing
no pun intended I ain't being sarcastic"

I can see Kendrick flipping it and letting drake have part 6 and having it be something kendrick fans can listen to and hear the remains of an incredible beef victory for Kdot

I was thinking he'd name it The Heart part VI, since Drake's one is called part 6 then Kendrick's one can make Drake's one irrelevant 🥺

Heart part 1 through 5 is incredible. But once we all go back to part 1 which his this one we'll see two of the most undisputed technical gifted wordsmiths in lyricism in this generation starring in this video in the record shop in Kendrick Lamar and Ab-Soul. Cole can get a mention but we are so blessed to have these two who have released some of the most incredible songs throughout their discography. No one is at their level in my opinion.
