They've fought multiple times; Thor has stopped the "unstoppable" Juggernaut in his tracks with a god-blast, and Juggernaut has knocked Thor unconscious. It's just the way of things, they're pretty much on par with one another. They key difference is that the gem can be removed from Cain, rendering him basically useless. Thor is Thor even without the hammer. He loses some power, sure, and some abilities as well. But even unarmed he's more powerful than like 85% of characters in Marvel. And actually removing the hammer from him is virtually impossible without someone like Odin intervening. Even if other characters have wielded the hammer, it belongs to Thor and he can just summon it to him anywhere, anytime. He's summoned it even from several galaxies away. Takes time to arrive, but it will without fail.
You forgot to even mention Juggernaut's greatest power, he's called the UNSTOPPABLE Juggernaut for a reason. Also never touched upon, is his insanely powerful regeneration. When fighting against D'Spayre, a demon and one of the Fear Lords, D'Spayre flayed the flesh from Juggernaut, reducing him to little more than a skeleton, not only did this not kill the Juggernaut, he kept on fighting, and beat D'Sparyre and fully regenerating his body only a few panels later. The Juggernaut's power also greatly wanes depending on how Cyttorak feels about his avatar or his actions at any given time, which can affect the potency of all his abilities, either empowering or dampening them. Juggernaut's other greatest weakness, it magic/mysticism, usually in the form of cutting him off from Cyttorak's power, as seen with a fight between him and Thor, where Thor temporarily stems the flow of power from Cyttorak with Mjolnir, and Magik is able to sever the tie from Cyttorak to his avatar completely via her soul sword.
yeah when he faight the hulk, they both ripped each others skins off, three panels later they were back and throwing buildings at eachother, meaning his regeneration is on par or even higher than hulks.
You left a lot of things out. Cain Marko is more than just a bully. He is a very honorable person who cares for anyone he considered his friend. He became a hero on multiple occasions, defying his god. He eventually reconciles with Xavier. When Xavier is killed by cyclops he wants revenge.
You mentioned 'remastering' some videos recently in 2020, and I'd love to see Juggernaut be one of them! You should include the time he crisscrossed into the Malibu Universe and formed the first eXiles team, his time with Excalibur, and the brief time he was a part of the X-Men proper. So a few points. 1. What is your basis for saying he could not survive the vacuum of space "everlasting"? When exactly is it supposed to get to him? He has been shown to be in outer space or other dimensions (for example the realm of Oblivion) and survive. He survived 10 years buried under a mountain while not at full power etc. etc. 2. What War Hulk did was not a feat of physical strength. It was the power of the Celestials that overcame his unstoppibility enchantment (as stated by Apocalypse himself). The Hulk glowed and suddenly Cain stopped. 3. Outside of a few writers/apperences where they seem to think Cain doesn't know how to speak, he is shown to be of normal intelligence. 4. Charles Xavier has not been Cain's focus since like the 70's.
Marvel in an interconnected universe yeah? well tons of video games have portrayed him going after Charles in a blind rage. His intelligence is limited in comparison to a normal person, otherwise he wouldn't have been a petty criminal for all those years. The Hulk used intelligence to best him essentially using he unstoppability against him. Took weeks to dig himself out of some hole he made or something of the sort. And finally, everything that has a beginning has an end. Juggernaut is not Omniscient and will slowly decay away, the Gem however will not.
It's actually the crimson BANDS of Cytorrak, not the crimson GEMS. The Bands are a spell Doctor Strange uses a LOT, and they are tied in to the Juggernaut.
From the '90s cartoon, Cain's father seemed like the only reason he was nice to Charlie, was because of his mom. Now, especially from his last words to Charlie, he actually seemed like he grew to truly care for him. More proof; nothing ever really is quite what it seems :).
The Juggernaut can't be killed. In a straight up fight without him being depowered, he'll crush hulk. In WWH Juggernaut clearly had the upper hand but then he was shifted to run into a lake because everybody knows he can't swim. And because of that the Hulk fanboys count it as a win.

There was a comic back in the day ( mid 90s I guess?) where Hulk came up against Juggernaut and hit him in the stomach so hard he knocked his helmet off and rendered him unconscious. My memory is very fuzzy on the comic but I remember that clearly.
You should've gotten into his involvement in Excalibur which explained his powers more. He also has portrayed a degree of street smarts especially with Wolverine and Spiderman during a Marvel Team-Up. Just saying.

In regards to that: is it just me or does Apocalypse in the upcoming movie look way too short? Like almost as short as the two female characters he is standing next to in the of the photos he's in?
Oh no, you are right, he(Oscar Isaac) is short. He's 5'9". He is only 2 inches taller than Tom Cruise. I know and believe the great skills of Oscar Isaac, but when you want someone to play a large character in the physical sense, it would it would make sense to choose an actor that is physically tall to start with. Now, Olivia Munn is thankfully shorter than Isaac by about 5 inches so it makes him appear believably taller. But for the rest of the cast, it's going to have to cater to his height like they do with Tom Cruise. I wouldn't mind seeing someone else like Jeffery Dean Morgan who is 6'2" or maybe Alexander Skarsgard who is a solid 6'4". Both of whom are physically better for the part than a short man who needs Hollywood magic to look taller. That's probably why the film is so expensive. Cause they are using trick photography to make Oscar Isaac a taller person.
Well it's going to take a lot of Hollywood magic, because Apocalypse is 7'0 at a minimum. Height doesn't always make the villain, but it sure makes them intimidating; Intimidation, in this case, is one of the main qualities that defines Apocalypse as a character and a super villain. In short, he's a big, scary motherfucker. His height is one of the qualities that showcases his strength, and solidifies his Darwinist catchphrase: "Only the strong will survive." If the film makers ignore that, then they are getting the character wrong.
I don't think anything would change if hulk became the juggernaut, just like when collosus did. U r given cytoraks powers and ur existing powers really have nothing to do w juggernaut. And it is cytorrak that grants u as much power as he wants...so if he gave juggs his full power I doubt the hulk could even stand a chance...because unlike juggs the hulk can be hurt and does need sustenance to survive. Just as in avx collosus juggernaut kicked hulks ass when cytorrak granted him more power....just a thought. A better question would be...what if someone like Cyclops or gambit was given juggernauts powers...would their energy manipulation still be there and if so....well we''re looking at some earth shattering power levels

according to the stats on marvel super heroes rpg, juggy could create a Class 1000 force field which means a mid-size nuclear bomb would not hurt him. not even wb hulk could hurt him. but without the force field he only has Unearthly strength armor which means an angry hulk could hurt him. he also can heal instantaneously almost 1/3 of his health, but he doesnt have the constant healing factor that the hulk does. juggy also cannot increase his strength like hulk. but if puts up the force field, almost nobody can stop him. this is according to the rpg which basically tries to quantify powers from the comics.
You mentioned that the hulk only matched juggernaut in the age of apocalypse sstoryline. Not true, in hulk storyline in the 90s juggernaut was hired as a merchant in south American were he ran into the hulk and they ended up having a series of fights where hulk eventually came out on top.
The Unstoppable Juggernaut is stronger than the Hulk. There was a battle in WWH, where they went head to head. The Hulk could not stop The Juggernaut from moving forward.

Cain still has issues with Xavier, but in the more recent comics, haven't they tried to at least understand each other better? I think it's only in the X-Men: The Animated Series that Juggernaut was envision as basically Rhino with steroids (if that's even possible), as well as his early appearances. Though since Cytorrak was wielded by Colossus, I have no idea how he turned out to be currently.

its too bad X3 ruined this character in the public's eye. Think of how interesting the Juggernaut could be as his own stand alone villain against the X-Men. We've seen enough of the Xavier-Magneto MLK-Malcolm X thing already. The family history with Charles is already ripe with opportunity plus it'd be badass to see just how powerful Juggernaut is when he faces all the X-Men. If he were given attention like Bane in Dark Knight Rises (minus the whole crappy twist at the end) it would be spectacular.

I have been looking into this. Up till World War Hulk Cain Marko/JugHead, starting out was ranked the third strongest physical Non Cosmic Beings. They went by Military Bench Press. The weight raised above one's head. Thor without his belt,1000 tons. And when Asgardian Ragin'(x10 strength), and Thanos the Mad Titan, 750-1000 tons. P.S. please forgive mY pOur gRammaR. Tee Hee. O.K., back to JugHead. While calm he can lift 100 tons. When he is emotional he quickly jumps to 500 ton Military Bench Press. In addition he had a mystical force field that protected him physically and spiritually. Thor and his hammer at some point turned off this shield. Till then he had Demi-godlike durability. He has always had godlike stamina and endurance. He has shown Godlike healing and regeneration. He has never needed to eat, sleep, or drink. Enhanced speed but no increase in coordination, flexibility, and senses. At time the demon god trapped in Cyttarack allowed his speed to increase further. And yes, when he was in motion he could not be stopped untill he choose too.Even with the 500 tone thing he could still perform godlike acts of strength like Hercules and some Eternals who turned their powers inward. When JugHead was reunited with the Gem Of C., and the demon was Not At Home mentally for a bit, most of his limits where gone and his strength was doubled. He was running around with someone called Spite who served Cyttarack. The power of the demongod is usually too much for mortals to handle and get drunk off it or go insane. When the demon god got bored with the hosts its leaves them for another. Cain Marko was the only mortal who had growing control of the demons mental ans spiritual control of himself. Cain was strong enough to handle digging himself out of the ground for over twenty years when he first became the Avatar of the Juggernaut. He had the strength to focus, without being a mutant, mutate, Eternal, Mystic, to stay sane while trapping in out space for weeks. It was a Top 10 Strength list in one of the Marvel Magazines. The Mags only had four issues. Half of the content was "swim wear".The list did not include being with instant strength like The Gladiator, Galactus, and such.
the other think juggernaut doesn't realize is that the one thing he is weak against is his telepathy -has he never though of getting his own psychics to stop another psychics -or take out the psychics first -i mean if i were going to attack someone who i knew had the one thing im not good against in their lineup i would use someone else to take them out -like pair up with someone who is good with defeating psychics

As seen in the events of the Fear Itself arc, when Cyttorak learns of Cain Marko's empowering, and subsequent glorifying there of via destruction and instilling fear in man kind, Cyttorak considers Marko apostate and takes away Marko's powers as the Juggernaut. This was done in regards to a deity that Cyttorak had no quarrel with, while he does have a quarrel with the other seven deities who had artifacts that empower avatars.
Did I hear this right? Just trying to clarify, the Juggernaut was equal to an enhanced Hulk in power? I remember from one of the other videos on the most powerful Avengers stating that the Hulk could break open the San Andreas fault he was so powerful. It seems from what I have seen in movies/cartoons/comics that Juggernaut was just the kind of character that could bash through walls or something. Very cool to get this backstory, and wonder if Marvel enhanced it due to his popularity.

2. What War Hulk did was not a feat of physical strength. It was the power of the Celestials that overcame his unstoppibility enchantment (as stated by Apocalypse himself). The Hulk glowed and suddenly Cain stopped.
3. Outside of a few writers/apperences where they seem to think Cain doesn't know how to speak, he is shown to be of normal intelligence.
4. Charles Xavier has not been Cain's focus since like the 70's.
Marvel in an interconnected universe yeah? well tons of video games have portrayed him going after Charles in a blind rage. His intelligence is limited in comparison to a normal person, otherwise he wouldn't have been a petty criminal for all those years. The Hulk used intelligence to best him essentially using he unstoppability against him. Took weeks to dig himself out of some hole he made or something of the sort. And finally, everything that has a beginning has an end. Juggernaut is not Omniscient and will slowly decay away, the Gem however will not.

It's actually the crimson BANDS of Cytorrak, not the crimson GEMS. The Bands are a spell Doctor Strange uses a LOT, and they are tied in to the Juggernaut.
Definitely one of my all time favorite characters. A real destroyer.
From the '90s cartoon, Cain's father seemed like the only reason he was nice to Charlie, was because of his mom. Now, especially from his last words to Charlie, he actually seemed like he grew to truly care for him. More proof; nothing ever really is quite what it seems :).

The Juggernaut can't be killed. In a straight up fight without him being depowered, he'll crush hulk. In WWH Juggernaut clearly had the upper hand but then he was shifted to run into a lake because everybody knows he can't swim. And because of that the Hulk fanboys count it as a win.

What if Bruce Banner found all the artifact crimson gems while still being able to transform into the Hulk? with all the artifact gems found Bruce seek out Iron man to work together in crafting a gauntlet to socket the 8 gems, what would the Hulk become then? he now have a gauntlet similar to Thanos infinity gauntlet, The Crimson gauntlet.

There was a comic back in the day ( mid 90s I guess?) where Hulk came up against Juggernaut and hit him in the stomach so hard he knocked his helmet off and rendered him unconscious. My memory is very fuzzy on the comic but I remember that clearly.

Dovah21 Thank you! Someone knows who I am talking about. That guy should have at least been the body double for Apocalypse while they allowed Oscar Isaac's head to be digitally superimposed. They did it with Captain America. Oscar Isaac is just another Tom Cruise(short).
In regards to that: is it just me or does Apocalypse in the upcoming movie look way too short? Like almost as short as the two female characters he is standing next to in the of the photos he's in?
Oh no, you are right, he(Oscar Isaac) is short. He's 5'9". He is only 2 inches taller than Tom Cruise. I know and believe the great skills of Oscar Isaac, but when you want someone to play a large character in the physical sense, it would it would make sense to choose an actor that is physically tall to start with. Now, Olivia Munn is thankfully shorter than Isaac by about 5 inches so it makes him appear believably taller. But for the rest of the cast, it's going to have to cater to his height like they do with Tom Cruise.
I wouldn't mind seeing someone else like Jeffery Dean Morgan who is 6'2" or maybe Alexander Skarsgard who is a solid 6'4". Both of whom are physically better for the part than a short man who needs Hollywood magic to look taller. That's probably why the film is so expensive. Cause they are using trick photography to make Oscar Isaac a taller person.
Well it's going to take a lot of Hollywood magic, because Apocalypse is 7'0 at a minimum. Height doesn't always make the villain, but it sure makes them intimidating; Intimidation, in this case, is one of the main qualities that defines Apocalypse as a character and a super villain. In short, he's a big, scary motherfucker. His height is one of the qualities that showcases his strength, and solidifies his Darwinist catchphrase: "Only the strong will survive." If the film makers ignore that, then they are getting the character wrong.
I don't think anything would change if hulk became the juggernaut, just like when collosus did. U r given cytoraks powers and ur existing powers really have nothing to do w juggernaut. And it is cytorrak that grants u as much power as he wants...so if he gave juggs his full power I doubt the hulk could even stand a chance...because unlike juggs the hulk can be hurt and does need sustenance to survive. Just as in avx collosus juggernaut kicked hulks ass when cytorrak granted him more power....just a thought.
A better question would be...what if someone like Cyclops or gambit was given juggernauts powers...would their energy manipulation still be there and if so....well we''re looking at some earth shattering power levels

according to the stats on marvel super heroes rpg, juggy could create a Class 1000 force field which means a mid-size nuclear bomb would not hurt him. not even wb hulk could hurt him. but without the force field he only has Unearthly strength armor which means an angry hulk could hurt him. he also can heal instantaneously almost 1/3 of his health, but he doesnt have the constant healing factor that the hulk does. juggy also cannot increase his strength like hulk. but if puts up the force field, almost nobody can stop him. this is according to the rpg which basically tries to quantify powers from the comics.
They got rid of the force field. And during World War Hulk, Juggernaut didn't have the armor because he had quit being Juggernaut.
You mentioned that the hulk only matched juggernaut in the age of apocalypse sstoryline. Not true, in hulk storyline in the 90s juggernaut was hired as a merchant in south American were he ran into the hulk and they ended up having a series of fights where hulk eventually came out on top.
The Unstoppable Juggernaut is stronger than the Hulk. There was a battle in WWH, where they went head to head. The Hulk could not stop The Juggernaut from moving forward.

Cain still has issues with Xavier, but in the more recent comics, haven't they tried to at least understand each other better? I think it's only in the X-Men: The Animated Series that Juggernaut was envision as basically Rhino with steroids (if that's even possible), as well as his early appearances.
Though since Cytorrak was wielded by Colossus, I have no idea how he turned out to be currently.

its too bad X3 ruined this character in the public's eye. Think of how interesting the Juggernaut could be as his own stand alone villain against the X-Men. We've seen enough of the Xavier-Magneto MLK-Malcolm X thing already. The family history with Charles is already ripe with opportunity plus it'd be badass to see just how powerful Juggernaut is when he faces all the X-Men. If he were given attention like Bane in Dark Knight Rises (minus the whole crappy twist at the end) it would be spectacular.

I have been looking into this. Up till World War Hulk Cain Marko/JugHead, starting out was ranked the third strongest physical Non Cosmic Beings. They went by Military Bench Press. The weight raised above one's head. Thor without his belt,1000 tons. And when Asgardian Ragin'(x10 strength), and Thanos the Mad Titan, 750-1000 tons. P.S. please forgive mY pOur gRammaR. Tee Hee. O.K., back to JugHead. While calm he can lift 100 tons. When he is emotional he quickly jumps to 500 ton Military Bench Press. In addition he had a mystical force field that protected him physically and spiritually. Thor and his hammer at some point turned off this shield. Till then he had Demi-godlike durability. He has always had godlike stamina and endurance. He has shown Godlike healing and regeneration. He has never needed to eat, sleep, or drink. Enhanced speed but no increase in coordination, flexibility, and senses. At time the demon god trapped in Cyttarack allowed his speed to increase further. And yes, when he was in motion he could not be stopped untill he choose too.Even with the 500 tone thing he could still perform godlike acts of strength like Hercules and some Eternals who turned their powers inward. When JugHead was reunited with the Gem Of C., and the demon was Not At Home mentally for a bit, most of his limits where gone and his strength was doubled. He was running around with someone called Spite who served Cyttarack. The power of the demongod is usually too much for mortals to handle and get drunk off it or go insane. When the demon god got bored with the hosts its leaves them for another. Cain Marko was the only mortal who had growing control of the demons mental ans spiritual control of himself. Cain was strong enough to handle digging himself out of the ground for over twenty years when he first became the Avatar of the Juggernaut. He had the strength to focus, without being a mutant, mutate, Eternal, Mystic, to stay sane while trapping in out space for weeks. He had taught himself how to recognize when the demongod or Charlie X was trying to get in his head.

Also the power and abilities of the demon-god Cyytarack and been changed a few times over the last ten years. End general, only the Hulk and The Gladiator has shown physical strength that out paces The Juggernaut. Its a Marvel thing and Marvel can do anything they want with their character.

It was a Top 10 Strength list in one of the Marvel Magazines. The Mags only had four issues. Half of the content was "swim wear".The list did not include being with instant strength like The Gladiator, Galactus, and such.
The rest of the DemonGod stuff was covered in some X-Men titles right after the Onslaught Saga ended.

the other think juggernaut doesn't realize is that the one thing he is weak against is his telepathy -has he never though of getting his own psychics to stop another psychics -or take out the psychics first -i mean if i were going to attack someone who i knew had the one thing im not good against in their lineup i would use someone else to take them out -like pair up with someone who is good with defeating psychics

Likely not. As seen in the events of the Fear Itself arc, when Cyttorak learns of Cain Marko's empowering, and subsequent glorifying there of via destruction and instilling fear in man kind, Cyttorak considers Marko apostate and takes away Marko's powers as the Juggernaut. This was done in regards to a deity that Cyttorak had no quarrel with, while he does have a quarrel with the other seven deities who had artifacts that empower avatars.

Did I hear this right? Just trying to clarify, the Juggernaut was equal to an enhanced Hulk in power? I remember from one of the other videos on the most powerful Avengers stating that the Hulk could break open the San Andreas fault he was so powerful. It seems from what I have seen in movies/cartoons/comics that Juggernaut was just the kind of character that could bash through walls or something. Very cool to get this backstory, and wonder if Marvel enhanced it due to his popularity.
