    • @carolynarellano

      Paying yourself as an owner is really up to you and how much money or your business is bringing in. We paid ourselves as employees going through payroll system. For the first year I only took about $150-$300 a week really just trying to reinvest back into my business over and over, it wasn’t until about your three .

      Hello Lisa . Thank you for the feedback! The number one source of free leads is Google my business. If you don’t have one, please make sure to sign up for one tonight. If you do have one, then you need to be posting to that at least three times a week. Updating with photos and specials and most importantly, collecting reviews. The more active you are on GMP the more Google will push your profile up in local search. Next, I would say invest into a website if you have not already. If funds are tight right now then you can make a free one on Google and on other platforms. Something is definitely better than nothing. Joining Facebook’s groups and Mom groups in the areas that you want to target is a great idea. Also be sure to have a Facebook page for your cleaning business and invite others to the group. I would join your local Chamber of Commerce if it’s not overly expensive. It’s a great way to network with other small businesses in the area. Also start a referral program. Tell everybody that you know that you have a cleaning business and that you’re running deals. If they get you a customer they’ll get $25 credited to their clean or maybe even $25 cash. I hope some of this was helpful. Please feel free to shoot me a DM on Instagram if you’d like to chat further.

      One way of doing this is having trackers in your fleet. You are able to keep up with them in real time. It's a device that you connect to your obd. It will tell you how fast or average speed they were doing. If the car has any issues. Check engine light. Also dash cams are a plus when having a fleet.

    Different jobs how does that work?

    • @carolynarellano
      @carolynarellano  9 месяцев назад

      I currently only work with 1099 contractors. They are responsible for having their own vehicles and getting to work . if an employee is using their car, you have to read them burst them for gas, mileage, and tolls. It quickly gets expensive if they’re using your company vehicle then you have to pay for the car, the insurance, the tolls, the gas and the drive time.

    • @carolynarellano
      @carolynarellano  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hello! No we do not charge our clients for the drive time. Only for the time that we are in the home cleaning. If they are w2 employees then you have to include drive time . Click in at first job to clock out at last. With contractors you pay by job no drive time included. All of our cleans are 30-45 min max apart. Anything over that we would charge higher in price but never tell a client it’s because of the drive time . Hope that helps .
