I think he was supposedly 242 at the combine, but regardless, his legs had already been sturdy enough that he was able to stand up to Edey a lot better than heavier Clingan was (despite both of them getting in foul trouble, but at least WARE was able to keep Edey well BELOW his "better than shooting 40% from three" FG percentage). And, no way Saar is ready to guard real NBA centers as well as any of those other three. Looks like Edey and Ware were clearly the better draft choices... so long as the more active NBA game (that Edey is otherwise up for) does not accidentally keep having Edey roll his 300 pounds onto defenders' feet!

He'll be a backup 5 for some time. A lot of these things get decided based on things that happen in practice. Once they feel like he's ready, they'll start him alongside Bam.

The only thing I question about Ware is the offense translating to the real Heat team. The summer league team had 3 point guards, their real team has 0 point guards. Those lobs won't be coming so easy or often.

Ware is a stud,he does everything well,I see him playing center and moving Bam to foward,this kid is special.
The thing is he’s doing it in a smaller frame for his height if he gained weight he could gain so much power if he gained 15 pounds
