Hype vs use case in crypto is strange. XRP tech at this point is really old, the thought is the Quant network can be used among central banks and potentially use coins like XRP, but it means banks will need to use XRP. Why would these hyper uber mega wealthy central banks by an outsiders coin when they can cheaply develop their own? If I'm a central bank I'm probably using the Quant network and working with other central banks to develop our token, this way we don't have some other entity in charge of minting and dumping supply on the market.
