I still can knit and crochet too. I have not gone to a retreat because of not being able to stitch on linen. I’m so glad that your husband is doing well. I lost my first husband when we were in our 30s and my children were young. Ive never stopped missing him, although I am Blessed with my current husband for almost 22 yrs. God Bless you and yours.

Hi, Shellie...this is the first chance I have had to watch your video. I have been a stitcher for over 60 years and have loved all forms of stitching from straight embroidery and cross stitch, to quilting and sewing clothes. Anything to keep needles, cloth, and thread in the hands! As a newly retired person, I am thrilled to actually now have the time to do those projects I have put off (for years) and spend more dedicated time to working on. Having seen the cycles of needlework as a "craze" or "fad", then it almost disappearing (some years finding it difficult to obtain supplies), I am thrilled it's back in "vogue"!! I would like to add "kind" to this note for your consideration! Praying for your husband's quick recovery and your perseverence and endurance as his loving caregiver and wife. Blessings!

Oh my! Praying for your husband, family and you. Thanking the Lord for His mercy and grace in all things. I have had three heart attacks with two stents in place. Cardiac rehab has been a tremendous help to me. Praying for your husband’s continued recovery and great success with his rehab.

Hi, Shellie...this is the first chance I have had to watch your video. I have been a stitcher for over 60 years and have loved all forms of stitching from straight embroidery and cross stitch, to quilting and sewing clothes. Anything to keep needles, cloth, and thread in the hands! As a newly retired person, I am thrilled to actually now have the time to do those projects I have put off (for years) and spend more dedicated time to working on. Having seen the cycles of needlework as a "craze" or "fad", then it almost disappearing (some years finding it difficult to obtain supplies), I am thrilled it's back in "vogue"!!
I would like to add "kind" to this note for your consideration! Praying for your husband's quick recovery and your perseverence and endurance as his loving caregiver and wife. Blessings!
Shellie, so good to see you again and hear the good news of your husband's recovery. My husband of almost 50 years has been hospitalized for the last 9 weeks after suffering a debilitating stroke and I am lost without him. I try to stitch when I can but my focus is only on him and my prayers for his recovery. I know God has us in the palm of His hand and am trusting in His perfect plan while trying to manage this treacherous journey. Thank you for the Light you share and encouragement for the day.
