You think this is bad? The best horrific and outrageous times are yet to come. These are wild and who should've been left alone. Not snatched away from the mothers or the mothers snatched away and impregnated for the sole use of showing monkey videos; It doesn't matter how good you treat them, they'll still turn on you. The short tail are just as aggressive and dangerous as the long tail Macaques.
They aren't taken from moms that are caring for them. I'm not sure who came up with this nonsense lie, but I know for a fact, bc I lived near wild macaques and raised many orphans myself, there is no need to take them from a mom. It's common to find a baby abandoned or clinging to dead mom. Plus the farmers trap and kill them for raiding crops, but usually will not kill the babies and people go around to the farms to adopt them.
And no they do not always turn on you. Ive had over 20 raised from infancy and never had one become aggressive. We had all fixed and that stops them becoming overly aggressive. Also prevents them being used for breeding when they go to a new owner.
You can't tell idiots anything, they are all know it all's.
