I love how his mom is patiently watching his progress. ❤
She knows. Trust in the PROCESS! Before he even gets all the way down, mom's looking up at her like "WE did it!" Lmao
not only for her puppy... now she is adult, and she wants to know more about the process she hershelf had to go through to learn...
She understands how she learned and possibly she wants to learn how she could teach her puppy the way it could be more acceptable from the humans...
Such a behavior however can only have the extra intelligent races or breeds of animals, not all of them, not so outstanding...
I love it when people on the internet give too much value to animal behaviour and inteligence. It is a dog, not a human. She is clearly only interested in the treat in this video. 🙂
@@davebroz655 Exactly. She is staring at the treats.
Yes
Only the true passionate and dedicated can have Belgian Malinois. Great work.
thats a proud mommy. she watched so closely to every response her baby gave.
"The good ole days, when commands were simple paw-touch responses"😂

She was watching those snacks
She was looking literally,

I want puppy 🐕
This means she needs to switch it up and have the dog listen then reward it
yeah i think theyre doing this in this exact order for days, malinois are extremely smart dogs and will catch onto that very quickly
Lots of dogs will learn "the routine" and just go through the motions for the treat, if you think thats progress, it is...in the dog training you 😂!
@@Gogo.....Many dogs do. Most dogs are very smart and learn very quickly but don't have good masters training them. My heeler/dachshund mix knows all the cool tricks in English and American sign language but he learned a routine quick and I had to remember to mix them up or he would just fly through the whole bit. 😂 Dogs are great.
Mom is watching so intently, so proud of her little pup. ❤ she looks up at the end like "I made that 😊"
yeah, is she?!
That is a cute little pup but look at mama! So well behaved.
He looks great especially for 7weeks old huge

mom was already in the right position for that last command and was exited as she also expected a treat. The trainer probably did not even notice the tell.
@@Return989 She heard "down" and wanted a treat for being down.
Upon the DOWN command, momma looks and says, "I'm down already, where's my treat?"

Dogs don’t smile

It's the mom for me! She is observing his every move like, "Okay son, we practiced this already, don't let me down!" The big smile at the end....Priceless! Beautiful dogs 🐕 ❤️
The most amazing breed right here! Honestly, it’s not in the Mal’s best interest to go to a home that doesn’t know the extreme of their intelligence and loyalty. ❤
And their absolute nonnegotiable need to have a job.
I could NOT AGREE MORE!! My son had one about 8 months old. Crazy wicked Smart; Faster than a whip cord. NON STOP ENERGY!! COUCH POTATO people need not apply!! Lol😅. They are miserable in a normal dog's world. Son had to forfeit his beautiful boy when new job required longer hours.
It's in the dog's best interest to go to a home that will love and take care of them. I have seen too many people get these dogs because they want them to be cool and train them to do cool things, then try and get rid of the dog when it gets sick or old and can no longer make you look "cool." People put way too much of an emphasis on an owner that can train the dog or handle it's energy, and never enough emphasis on an owner that will be dedicated to it NO MATTER WHAT. The dog is not there to be a cool machine, it's a living thing that needs to be taken care of loved even if it's old and sick.
I'm sorry, but this is among the most dangerous breed of dogs. Very trainable but like a loaded firearm in the wrong hands.
You should be proud of your son to put the needs of his dog first!
Mom smiling at the end, she's so proud of her smart little boy.
Dogs don’t smile, sorry.
They're not humans!
The mother is just waiting for the treats to come her way!!!
@@ALT-vz3jnThen why do they smile when they are happy 👍
@@ALT-vz3jn According to extensive testing by CanineCampus, yes dogs do smile. They have an average IQ of 100, that's similar to children aged 2-4. What do children do? Mimic behaviours they see, including smiling.
Dogs mimic human smiles. I can literally record you my dog's reaction to me smiling. They will literally get happy and sometimes start doing it themselves.
Dogs do smile that’s how you can tell if they’re sad or happy😂
He is making Momma sooooo proud!!!
Note that commands are only stated once and instantly rewarded once action is completed. That’s the biggest key to training a dog.
Your comment tells me that you aren't a dog trainer. Command. Marking word. Command again. Sit, Yes, Good sit. This ladies timing is way off and she doesn't repeat the command. Also no dog trainer teaches paw.
@@kp8972 I am not a professional dog trainer and have never claimed to be. I have successfully trained several dogs that I’ve owned. Back when I needed help in training the dogs, I was taught that a command should never be given more than once. If you want to do it differently, that’s fine. I don’t know you so I won’t rudely speculate on what you know or don’t know. All I know is that my suggested methods work.
@@kp8972I was about to say the same thing, also I’m not sure I personally would add commands to a 7 week old pup, but focus more on shaping and making the dog follow the treat, but that’s up to whoever trains i guess.
@@kp8972 sit. Good boy.
Shake and paw for one command... Great training lmfao. Still no problem here the dogs clearly being trained to he a house pet not a working mal so who cares.
The Mom is absolutely stunning! The pup is doing great.
Good is a more discerning word for praise training than “yes”.
Mom is absolutely beautiful and so elegant and smart.

I love how this tiny puppy still has his mum by his side while the owner takes care of them both 🥹
7 weeks and already smarter than 90% of dogs.

Malinois are bred to be obedient, not to be the smartest. The smartest dogs are the ones who try to train their owners and some do succeed😎.
And 12% of humans......
@@GeorgiJorov-pf5ge incorrect
You shouldnt own a dog if you have this malformed perspective of canines.
@@treverdrew6993's right, bud, humor aside.
Some people can't make the distinction between a stubborn, smart dog that relied on instincts to survive, bred for harsh conditions to work independently in, and one selectively bred for obedience. Wouldn't say one is smarter than another necessarily.

There are dogs that get bored and don't see tge point in bringing you a ball 100 times. After 3 throws they lose interest and start killing that piece of gum as if it stole their bike 3 years ago.

I'm in love with these beautiful Belgium Malinois...!!
*Belgian Malinois ;) "Belgium" is the country. "Belgian" is both: the NOUN that represents people who are natives/inhabitants of Belgium, and/or who are of Belgian ethnic descent, AND also, the ADJECTIVE that describes animals, geography, objects, things, etc. from Belgium. 😊

Omg thank you so very much for sharing your puppy's growth to date so far and I hope that keep doing so whilst he continues to grow up.
I truly wish that I was physically capable of raising & training a Malinois pup.. I only found out about this breed maybe a year ago now. I immediately fell in love with how gorgeous, & extremely intelligent they are. It's amazing how they are always ready to work or protect in just a split second..you can see that even when they are playing or cuddling that they are fully aware of their surroundings. Just looking into their eyes in a video you can see just how amazingly smart they truly are. Again THANK you for sharing your videos with us.
So glad you enjoy. Thank you so much for the kind words! And thank you for being part of our pack!!!!
My puppy could sit, shake and lay down on the second day home
He can now.......
Sit
Lay down
paw
Other paw (he changes which paw he gives us)
Roll over
Spin
Wait
Heel
Into bed (basically when we say into bed he runs into his bed 😅)
Sit pretty (Basically sitting position but two paws in the air ig /look it up 😂😂)
Stand
Speak
Crawl
Balance a treat on his nose and when I say "go" he throws it in the air then catches it
That's all so far..... He's now two 😊
Please try to train your pets a small bit..... Even just manners
It will help so much with their brain stimulation

He's so beautiful!
A very smart breed. But, mom. I'll give you anything you want for those yummy treats.❤
His food drive is on point.
1st the nose 2nd the food
Impo, food is only to teach, not a reward. I reward mine with exercise after they've learned. My dogs never got scraps until after a few years of dedicated work. Now at 7 years old my main gets some scraps from tome to time, all depending on how well he worked in difficult situations that day, like when we went back to the movies after covid. He needed basically retraining. But he's back at 110%.
Food drive only last so long. It's best to take advantage of it when they are young and still goofy. Once they realize there are better things than an occasional treat it will be harder to convince them. That's why you ween them off of food rewards to other rewards like allowing them to work, run, play etc.
Yes
@@anthonyzullo tbf your dog isn't recognising that treat as a reward after that length of time anyway

You have got to be a super pet mom. They are so well trained. Typically people won't have Belgian malinois as a pet because they require A LOT and are typically military or police dogs. You are truly remarkable, and keep up the excellent work.
Wow thank you for such a compliment!
